The 131st nominee of the NBN hall of fame is an absolute toss-up. Sindarius Thornwell had a tremendous peak but retired extremely early, leaving a lot to be desired from his career. So, does Thornwell get into the Hall of Fame? Let's look at it.

Arguments For Induction
- Frankly, Thornwell was one of the best scorers in the league for over a decade (2024-2034).
- Thornwell always defended at a really high level. Generally good with stocks, solid perimeter defender. Made his team much better on both sides of the ball.
- Even without a crazy long career, Thornwell still carved himself onto the top scoring leaderboards. 82nd in points in less than 1,000 games is pretty good, along with 85th in field goals and a nice 69th in 3 point shots.
- Generally a player without any flaws, as well. Didn't turn the ball over a crazy amount, scored at an extremely high level, defended at an extremely high level, even passed the ball pretty well at points in his career when his teammates were half decent.
- Consistent as hell. Never dipped under 46% from the field as a starter, was over 21.5 PPG his entire career when starting.
Arguments Against Induction
- The issue? He was primarily stuck on less-than-great teams for chunks of his career.
- Major lack of accolades. In a league that's very shooting guard heavy that's not surprising, but you'd like to see just about anything more than what he's got.
- No ring. Never helps a borderline HoF guy.
- Retired early. If he had played another four-ish seasons and stayed at a consistent 20+ PPG level, his leaderboard rankings would be much easier to convince as a Hall of Famer.
- Does he compare to other Hall of Famers in a positive way? Guys like De'Aaron Fox didn't even get more than two or three yes votes but are comparable in terms of accolades and leaderboard ranking.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
