Charles Bassey was bar none one of the best defensive bigs we've seen in a long, long time in the NBN. While he was never much of a scorer, his defensive ability was incredible, no other way to put it. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Bassey was an absolute BEAST defensively. 13th all-time in blocks, 24th all-time in rebounds, consistently being near the top of the leaderboards every season he was a part of.
- With a rookie of the year, 483 double doubles, an All-Defensive team appearance, Olympic Gold Medalist... pretty solid achievement line there.
- Longevity and consistency is something Bassey embodied as a big man. Even when his minutes total dropped off a little bit, his play was always consistent and you knew exactly what you had in Bassey for the entirety of his career. I think it's hard to put someone in based off of consistency, but if there was one player who would get in because of it, he's the one.
Arguments Against Induction
- The guy struggled to score, probably a mixture of a lot of things that lead him to being an extremely mediocre scorer.
- No championship might do him in here. We don't really value big men who can't score as highly, and there's a lot of bigs who put up similar statistics.
- Lack of awards? No All-League team, never made an All-Defensive first. Gonna hurt bad.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
