Neon is one of the most curious cases in NBN history. While he was consistently dominant, he was a flawed player who never ended up winning a Championship. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Neon was that player that most of us wanted nothing more than to get their hands on. He was truly dominant, putting up somewhere around 20/14.5/4 in his prime while also being a tremendously efficient scorer outside of his dismal free throw shooting.
- All-Defensive teams galore. All-League teams galore. 892 double doubles. 9 triple doubles. I'm not sure what else you can expect out of a big. He was dominant.
- I think one of the most special things that Neon had to offer was being the supreme definition of consistency. He scored quite a lot, rebounded better than just about anyone, defended better than just about anybody, and he did that over a long period of time.
Arguments Against Induction
- He really just couldn't shoot free throws. Pretty embarrassing how bad he was. Missed more free throws than he made over his career. Wild stuff.
- No Championship is always a big L for anyone in these arguments. People live and die by the rings here.
- The end of his career was kind of a "fall from grace", some would say. He went from averaging 26.4/14.2 to 14.8/10.5 in just two seasons, and by the end of his career, he was only averaging 8/9. It didn't look like he fell off that bad, but his output in significant minutes on the Celtics didn't help his case.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
