As one of the league's most consistent sharpshooters, Sharman made his career off of the 3 and the D. As this "sharpshooter" role continued, Sharman also provided an extremely skilled perimeter defense ability, even showing up on the "Top Defenders" list multiple times throughout his career. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- This one's tough, but a few things to consider. Sharman NEVER spent his career as a top option (due to playing with a top 5 player OAT in recently enshrined Azirin), but he still managed to be one of the league's premier shooting guards in terms of consistent play. Every single season he started over his career, he averaged over 20 PPG and was one of the league's top defending and rebounding wings for the majority of his career.
- There was no one thing that Sharman did poorly. He was always an above average passer, great ball handler, fantastic rebounder for a wing, and was a lights out shooter for the majority of his career. The guy was a 90% shooter from free throws and averaged 19.4/6.1/2.9/1.6 without turning the ball over AND four bench seasons to drag his stats down.
- Sharman was legitimately the perfect "do it all" player. Any role you needed Sharman to perform in, he would. There was never a bad playoff series or bad stretch of play from him, which is amazing considering how strong the SG position is. As one of the league's top defenders, Sharman deserves a lot of credit for always producing on both ends.
Arguments Against Induction
- The first big red flag is the lack of awards. While the position was dominated by the GOAT Jordan Toles and Joe Marshall, not having an All-League team hurts the case.
- Sharman wasn't a flashy player and that's always a big L for Hall of Fame candidates. Since you can't see the under the hood attributes, it's hard to know how good of a player you've really got on your hands. While he was a maxed out perimeter defender, is that enough to put him in?
- As a borderline candidate, he's going to have a hard time winning over the press. One Championship is nice but isn't anything special, and not having "Player of the" awards and such don't help at all.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
