Always tried to get him or Oscar Schmidt in the league as both were just amazing at everything.

Hagan always surprised me with how good he was every season. He always torched my team and I hated seeing him on the other side of a playoff matchup because you just know he's going to take over a few games and get the W's. He was an elite player his entire career and got a few rings to show for it, which is big when you play such an important position on a title team. Thats a yes for me.

only 1 all league first team award? In the league at the same time as Oscar Schmidt and Paul Arizin. Hard to get a 1st team award with those two. |
