5 PPG isnt flashy by any means but the guy he replaces wasnt much better offensively. This is a huge upgrade.
Going through boxes and we went 4-0 with zion against quality opponents, averaging little over 2 BPG. Thats not gonna cut it long term.
Very small sample size but when youre 5 games behind 8th. You have to be a bit aggressive.
I honestly think hes perfect as a 3rd big.

Cheap or not, judging a backup big man by how many points they score isn't very smart.

Also Faye is a starter in Boston doing that
I don’t hate the move so much, but I hate the move for your roster

Think sixers coulda gotten the same quality big for less, but that's just me. Love it for the Celtics, even if they're late picks, Faye himself was a 2nd round pick so one of those firsts could easily net a similar big in the draft

I don't love Faye but it's 100% wrong thinking they could do better with this package. Unless you'd rather have Bobby Portis, in which case I can't help you

His turnover to points ratio is alarming though. I'd expect a guy with non-existent offense to be closer to 1 topg than 2

7:1 pts to to is "average" imo this guy is at 5:2

Also got rid of hayes' extra year which is really big. He def needs more help on the wing but its always good having big man depth
