Does seem odd for the Raps to make a move for Luka considering where they are at in the process. But according to most this is a low return so he, theoretically, should be able to flip him for more value right?

Agree with cheddar. Hopefully all of you people claiming this is a low return hit up frosty. But you probably won’t because no one besides Jazz and Knicks wanted him for the past 3 weeks.

If I’m doing a complete rebuild what good does holding onto Luka do? Going for a top 3 pick and then retool next offseason with max space and a shit ton of picks in 27, 28 and 29. Yeah I would have loved to get more but no one has offered anything and he’s been on the block for 3 weeks and I’ve reached out to numerous people Unless you have the lotto luck of me  |

Having anything more than a spot-up guy at SG takes shots away from Allen and Brown. At the same rate, I couldn't send even a 1st until this off-season. And would end up having to do something more to find a replacement PF cause John Collins would have to be involved for salary |

Realizing how bad JoJo is makes this trade even less sensible for raps. Keep forcing yourself to be competitive, you can make big moves but at the end of the day you'd be better off if you waited around a season or two
