Buddy Hield was held hostage for a long time on the Clippers, but he was always one of the league's best shooting guards until the day he retired. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Well, he's pretty decorated. Three All-League firsts, Two All-League seconds, and an All-League Third while being a 5x All-Star and a 3-Point Shootout Champion. While he never won a ring or a player of the month, he was up there as one of the best of the best at the SG spot.
- Scoring-wise, he's pretty hard to compete with. Amongst those in the league who have been in the league for five plus seasons, I'd say there's probably half-a-dozen players who have a similar offensive talent than him and even that's a bit of a stretch. Killian, Anthony, Durant, Bates are probably about it unless I'm forgetting someone.
- He had the career to get in, imo. I'd say he's got a few 100 more games than we need to induct someone, while being a 26 PPG player and being a very good rebounder along the way.
Arguments Against Induction
- Not much playoff success will hurt the cause. Outside of the one Finals run, I don't remember the Clippers being able to do much and that may hurt the cause there a bit although it's not really Buddy's fault.
- Not much of a high-level defender. Mid-stock level defender who was always a not-super-high grade defender.
- The end of his career doesn't look nearly as good for his case. He'd be a 28+ PPG guy had he not been stripped of his high-volume ability on a mediocre team his final two seasons.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
