To Mavs: SG RJ Barrett To Lakers: PF PJ Washington SG Daishen Nix (see in season FA signings) 2032 1st round pick Barrett will come in and start and mentor Smith, I'm going to adapt Smith so he can backup 1/2. Another move to try to maximize Earl's notes and make the playoffs. Rog |

Lets get one thing straight.... Barrett is a good SG. I do think I got a better deal than I expected here, but I do like Barrett a decent bit. I accept. Ok donny I don't see how Barrett isn't a good SG? I'm not trying to act like Donny and say hes better than a dude averaging 25 ppg like he did. But Barrett does two things really well that every team needs, rebounding and shooting. Hes a legit 17 point, 7 rebound SG which is valuable in this league. Hes solid and fits in well. I don't think he is a fit for the Mavs, but I'm not saying no to an offer because its better for the Mavs if I say no. i like the deal I got, but besmirching Barrett to go after the Mavs is just flat out not factual lol Mavs are ass and this deal makes zero sense for them. Doesn't mean Barrett isn't valuable. |

You're right though, you can add free throw shooting to the things he excels at. Rebounding, passing, free throws. |
