Also probably another reason people don't like to trade in this league - because every move is micromanaged by the trolls here (yes I know I've done it in the past with the Mavs owner too)

Most trade threads are like 5 posts long. This dude has been terrible since he got here. Every move he makes contradicts the previous one. He’s giving away a lotto this season, he was about to give away another one. I get it from the Clips perspective but for the good of the league the Nets need a new GM.

I'm curious how a first and $500 cash for a top SF when it's the most scarce position in the league is so bad that you feel the need to troll someone out of the league SMH I don't think it's a bad trade! I just don't think it's a good trade! 8.5.6 |

To be honest I haven't paid attention to anything he's done - I just asked if he was interested because he had cap space and he said he'd do it for a first

It’s a bad trade in terms of it makes no sense what he was doing with his team. If this was a team that is pushing for a title and wanted to add Woodard then sure but a team that let all FAs walk sold off first and just moved their best player to now come back and go get a decent player makes no sense. People in this league have been critiquing trades since I’ve been here. You got two options. Prove people wrong or tuck your tail and run.

Probably the first and only person to message him about Woodard, so hey! I inquired at the start of the offseason! Haha If the Nets kept Pritchard, Christie and then added Woodard as the 3rd option at least they probably would have been an interesting playoff team. I see what cheddar means with the contradiction in moves though. It sucks because they don’t have their pick now.... but at this point the team is much better falling into the mid/lower lottery and losing Green to FA (most likely, unless he offers an awesome discount). Then just starting the rebuild next year with their own pick. |

But to keep dealing players away/let them walk for free only to trade your own 1sts to replace them makes no sense. |

Almost ever trade gets some type of comment. Its how the league has been and its cool that way. If someone can't handle it so be it.
N I directed my comment on that you could of got more for Woodward. A nice pick and cash is more then enough.

If you can’t take criticism you probably don’t belong here. This league is filled with people who express their opinions.
