1,024 games in a career is special, but what may be more special is the fact that Jusuf Nurkic remained a high-end defender and rebounder until the very end of his career. As a non-scoring big, Nurkic carved his career into two championships and 587 double doubles, dominating games on the biggest stage. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Nurkic's career is the definition of a successful one, filled with tons and tons of longevity along the way. Not only did he not play 1,024 games, which is near the top of the leaderboard, he never really fell off long-term, although his role in his final year diminished a little bit. He was an integral big to two Championship teams and that's hugely important.
- As a rebounding/defensive big first and foremost, Nurkic was dominant in those aspects. Similar to a Rudy Gobert-esque talent, he posted 3+ stocks/game and 12+ rebounds in a plethora of seasons while never being a detriment offensively especially for the contending teams he played on. Nurkic was an invaluable member of every team he started on.
- Double double machine, to say the least. Compare to Nikola Jokic, who played 955 games and only posted 478 double doubles over his career, whereas Nurkic posted 100 more in the same time span. While he was never a flashy offensive piece, he showed off a ton of positive game in the areas it mattered for the teams he played on.
Arguments Against Induction
- If guys like Rudy Gobert couldn't get in without their Championships, will someone like Jokic be able to slide in there? Nurkic had a more successful career for sure, but is it enough to make him a Hall of Famer?
- As a three-time All-Star, you'd like to think that, in comparison to the amazing bigs we've had, can hold up decently well. However, we've allowed in:
Karl-Anthony Towns - 7x All Star, 10x All-Leaguer
Anthony Davis - 8x All Star, 10x All-Leaguer
aaaaaand that's it. Gonna be tough to induct another Hall of Famer as a big if they don't compare to KAT or AD.
- Can we elect a player that was a defensive stud but essentially that's it into the Hall? There's a tough and very fine line between Hall of Fame and Hall of Very Good and it's going to be hard to induct any player who isn't an absolute no brainer, knowing what we've got already.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
