Starting and ending his career in Detroit, Jayson Tatum put in an absolute shift with the Pistons, playing over 750 games, dominating many of those games along the way. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Tatum was near the gold-standard of SF's for a while there, always a tier 2 SF behind the likes of Kevin Durant, with players like Jaylen Brown who was inducted a few seasons prior. Tatum was a terrific scoring option at the small forward position and was one of the best parts of the Detroit teams in early restart days.
- Extremely consistent, Brown put together 13 seasons of 17.6+ PPG to start off his career, including 11 in a row of 19.3 or better. This dude was an absolute bucket and scored at a consistently high pace, somewhere around 46% for his career as a starting SF.
- Not to mention, he played a good defensive game as well. Not only was he an All-Defensive team member in the second year of his career, he stayed a consistent contributor at the 3 for a long time, posting great numbers and being a fantastic rebounder especially for his height/position.
Arguments Against Induction
- Was Tatum GREAT? Considering the SF's in the HoF right now, it's hard to have a specific baseline for what is a Hall of Famer considering Durant is a top 3-5 player in the league since the restart. Brown is a much better comparison as a career 22.2/6.2/2.4 on 45.7%, whereas Tatum was 19.6/7.1/2.0 on 45.0%. There is no baseline and I have a feeling Tatum will be part of that baseline.
- Tatum definitely had a great career, but the potential he held could've been so much greater. While he was pretty much never the first option with Killian Hayes storming onto the scene, it's not often that we see guys who were the second option getting inducted without serious scrutiny.
- Lack of POTW's, POTM's, awards, and achievements does not help in the slightest. While he was a NBN Champion, 3x All-Star, 1x All-Leaguer, you'd like to see more especially considering guys like Brown and Durant did more in less years in the league.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
