As one of the earliest stars out of the draft, Josiah James developed into one of the league's most prolific offensive players. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Josiah James came into the league at the perfect time and was an instantly productive player, putting up two of the best rookie deal seasons we've had in this league in his third and fourth years into the league. He continued to put up many, many years like that and was a frequent top-10 player on the PPG leaderboard.
- He's a champion and a super decorated player for how competitive the position is and was. Three All-League Firsts and an All-League Second, 7x All-Star, 2x 3-Point Champion, all while being one of the best scorers to ever do it in the league. Furthermore, he was always an efficient passer, solid rebounder, and a terrific defender for a large part of his career.
- Josiah was so good that he almost never ended up on a bad team. He was always a super hot commodity who was going to end up playing for a title year in, year out because he himself could do it all, helping the team make a run along the way. I'm surprised he only ended up with one championship because of all the strong teams he was a part of. On top of that, he never had any type of decline over his career and probably could've given it two or three more very good years before being questionable.
Arguments Against Induction
- Outside of the title, the achievements are fairly light. 2 POTW's, 119 POTG's, and no POTM's would be one of the lowest of the inductees if he does indeed get into the Hall.
- He was a great player, but he had a "prime" of 28+ PPG seasons and then he never even came close after the third 28+ season in a row. Most elite scorers get better as they age and have longer primes, and while James was still incredibly good, his very peak of his output in his career was pretty early on.
- At the shooting guard position, he matches up to most pretty favorably, but we're still not necessarily at the strongest point in terms of figuring out who is and who isn't a Hall of Famer. James was an elite player, no doubt, so there is a significant lack of weaknesses to hold against him. The Hall of Fame committee is still new and we still haven't inducted in a ton of guys yet, so now that we can analyze a full career, it may work against James rather than for James seeing all of the other SG's who will be up for a vote within the next few years.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
