Once traded in his prime for cash, Cade Cunningham came into the league as one of the most unique prospects we've seen seen and developed into the most unique careers this league has had. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Cade was a unicorn type player, as a PG/SF who did it all and did it all well. While he may not have ever been a superstar type player due to usage outside of the PG position, he still did numbers that very well give him a chance to be a Hall of Famer.
- From 2024-2029, Cade Cunningham was on the All-Defensive team at PG all bu one year, 2025, in which he only played 37 games. This dude was one of the most dominant stock defenders we've ever seen at the PG position and thus, eight All-Defensive teams later, is one of the most decorated.
- He was a bucket too! Consistent 45-46% from the field shooter with solid range, which helps a lot on top of his elite rebounding ability for a PG and the aforementioned defense he brought to the table.
Arguments Against Induction
- It's a unique situation, but I don't think we've ever had a sub-20 PPG player with no All-League or All-Star appearances. His awards are almost exclusively defensive related and I'm sure this will be an interesting talking point amongst the GM's voting.
- Cade was a consistent offensive producer but he wasn't necessarily on the level of other guards/wings in the league offensively due to an inability to shoot the three like most of the elites do. Compare him to a guy like Jamal Murray, who won three championships, a Playoff MVP, and then got 33.3% of votes from the GM's in the league. Jamal shot .467/.878/.421 over his career, the FG% and 3P% significantly stronger than Cade's.
- Had Cade been able to run the point, his career would've almost certainly been a no-doubt Hall of Famer, but like other guys we've seen... not so much so. I mean, you have to consider the fact that he played for 7 teams when looking at his case and also look at the other SG/SF's who haven't had as much luck in Hall of Fame voting. I think this will end up being one of the most interesting cases we've seen considering he did a lot of things very well, but he also left a lot to be desired.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
