A seven-time All-Leaguer who dominated early in his career and stuck around to play 1,279 games with a large role in almost all of them, Sadraque Nganga now steps up to the Hall of Fame line hoping for votes. Will you be a yes, or a no?

Arguments For Induction
- Nganga was the definition of dominant offensively for a large chunk of his career, posting 8 straight years of 20+ PPG seasons including multiple over 25 (maxing out at 28.1). You don't see that very often, but you REALLY don't see it out of a big man who also grabs 12+ boards and gets 3+ stocks WHILE being extremely efficient offensively (every year over 20 PPG was 45% or better from the field).
- 709 double-doubles over his career with seven All-League Teams (2 First teams, 4 Second teams) and seven All-Star Games. Nganga's athleticism at 6'10", 235 is pretty nuts, posting a few Slam-Dunk Contest victories along the way too. Nganga's production is severely underrated.
- Finally, his ability to stretch the court was pretty impressive. There were a few years in there where Nganga shot better from three than some of the better guards in the league, while being super efficient on boards, stocks, and not turning the ball over. Frankly, had Nganga not had a few years on the bench near the end of his career, he'd have one of the more impressive careers of any bigs ever in the NBN.
Arguments Against Induction
- No rings, three POTW's, and no POTM's are the big negatives on his case. He had a few runs with contenders throughout his career but really never got it done to the point where he played nearly 1,300 games without a title. Was he a special enough player without the accolades?
- Was Nganga's terrific All-League run more his ability and production or more a lackluster, weak position at PF? While Nganga was quite obviously a talented player who had a really nice run in the league with insane amounts of volume, was he a beneficiary of a weak position around him?
- Compared to other Hall of Fame bigs, he's not entirely "exciting". Both AD and KAT won MVP 2x and had 8 All-Leagues, Robinson was on 6 All-League teams as one of the most prolific blockers, and Allen had 8 All-League teams as well while ALSO being one of the most prolific blockers in league history. He compares well to a player like Marvin Bagley, who is an incredibly strong comparison... but not great all-things considered.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
