I really liked Ron Boone and I think his career ended up being very quality even when he wasn't getting a ton of volume so I'll give him a yes

I'm going to go with a yes. I looked again at the comparison that Spike made with Hampton and I voted yes for Hampton, so i wanted to look at the comparison. I think Boone compares favorably everywhere but defense. Boone's numbers were really screwed up by riding the bench for 3 of the last 4 years, while Hampton was a starter basically his entire career.

My thing with what you just said is Hampton played 130+ games and never had those bench years that ruined his numbers. Boone was good but when he was good just wasn’t long enough IMO to be in HOF

really tough, but going with no. Very very good, but not elite. Although if we were voting for mentors, he's the goat

I voted yes. I think Hampton was better statistically but never played with a guy like Jean Montero where he had to share the load. At least while he was in his prime. I love high level rebounding SGs(its one of the reasons I think Moncrief might be my favorite player in the league, not the best just personal favorite) and he also added high level passing(that I don't think matters to win games but within a conversation about his HOF candidacy it does) while playing with one of the best passers in league history. Plus those years with the Warriors, he and Montero were arguably the best duo in the league. He has way more going for him than Hampton did, who played on some good but never great teams in his early career. Boone put up some ridiculous scoring numbers for the Warriors on loaded rosters while Hamptons best(arguably) came with his 2nd scorer being Lauri Markkanen and Tre Jones. Context matters.
Voted yes. Wasn't really close in my head either.

No, not a long enough peak.

Voted no. Doesn’t seem like a superstar or star to Me. Real solid player.

Don't think it'll make a difference but I voted yes
The awards show he was one of the best SGs in the league during his peak and his career numbers are deflated bc he was benched at the end of his career but he was elite during his peak, an elite mentor, and has a championship to his name

This was a tough one. I'm gonna go with yes because when his productivity dropped, it was mainly due to playing with better players and it ultimately won them a championship in 2033.
