A jack of all trades, Jalen Johnson spent multiple years starting with multiple teams and consistently produced no matter where he went, putting together a pretty quality career along the way. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Jalen Johnson was not the flashy type but he was one of the better SF's in the league for quite a long time, starting for 13 years in a row from his rookie year on before contributing for some contenders at the end of his career. Johnson turned into a pretty prototypical no-flaw player to have, making a few All-League and All-Defensive teams as a consistently good SF in a league where the SF depth was minimal at best.
- Rebounding? He'll do it, and do it extremely well (13 years over 7.5 RPG). He'll give you a guaranteed 15 a night with the chance to hit high 20s or even the 30s on occasion, he'll pass the ball, he'll play defense, and he's extremely versatile in where he can play. Johnson's career pivoted into him as a super-sub role for a large chunk and he'd even win a Sixth Man of the Year award as a player who will do whatever is asked of him.
- Considering the era, Johnson was competing there with a young Emoni Bates, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Deni Avdija, and Lebron James Jr, and he'd manage to outdo them multiple times on multiple teams to land on the All-League team twice as a former All-Star and NBN Champion.
Arguments Against Induction
- The scoring is a little bit suspect from me. It's going to be really hard for some GM's to see the career 14.8 PPG and say he's a Hall of Famer and I think that'll ultimately be what makes or breaks the case.
- The award shelf is a little insufficient in comparison. One title, 2 All-League Third Teams, 2 All-Defensive Teams, 1 Sixth Man of the Year, 1 All-Star Game.. not many player of the game awards... it's going to be interesting to see where GMs put him given his versatility but his case is weakened by a lack of awards.
- Was Johnson ever an elite SF or did he just benefit from a lack thereof elite SF's? He was a part of the league's transitioning from the actual NBA with a set talent level to a league of prospects created by the Rog and Silver, and maybe the early drafts and guys like Durant retiring made his consistency more attractive to GM's?
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
