One of the greatest 3's in league history, Emoni Bates gave it up when he ended up on the bench (still not sure how this one happened!) after 1,550 games starting. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Bates had one of the most unbelievable stretches of dominance the league has ever seen. He was a six-time All-League First Teamer on top of seven other appearances on the All-League Team, 11x All-Star team appearances, 2x All-D team... guy was a guaranteed 25 a night for a long period of time.
- Emoni checked every box for pretty much all of his career. He was an extremely efficient offensive player with an ability to pass, rebound, grab some stocks, and not turn the ball over a super significant amount. He was a truly complete player.
- Throughout his career, he seemed to improve even into his 30s. He put up some incredible numbers on the back end of his career, rattling off 10 seasons in a row with over 90 FT% and only one season under 44.8 3P% during those years... pretty ridiculous how good he was until the very end.
Arguments Against Induction
- No ring, unfortunately. Couldn't get it done with the Nugs, Raps x2, Blazers x2, Rockets, Hawks, Wizards x2... playing on mostly competitive rosters other than playing for Dash's Hawks. Just not much luck come playoff time.
- I'm shocked he never won a Player of the Month with how dominant he was over his career. Guess that's an FBB flaw.
- Maybe struggling to stick with one team after his opening tenure with the Nuggets didnt help. Sometimes the best teams are the ones that stick together and work the rough edges out and he never had the opportunity of more than 3 years in any of his other tenures.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
