One of the greatest to ever do it, Willie Steveniers joins a star-studded group of potential Hall of Famers in what is shaping up to be the greatest class of retirees in NBN history. Is he a Hall of Famer?

Arguments For Induction
- Willie had one of the most storied careers for any non-title winner in league history, winning the MVP three times with the Rockets in 2034, 2035, and 2037. The guy was an incredible player from day one as a 7x All-Leaguer (4x All-League First) at the league's most difficult position to consistently show up and, with double digit appearances in the All-Star Game, the guy had an unbelievable amount of success regardless of no ring.
- Willie developed very nicely and was a quality starting level player by year three of his career, really hitting the gas into years 4/5 with the Spurs before absolutely blowing up in Houston, winning the MVP 3 times in 4 years with the Rockets. Steveniers managed to post 9 years over 26.8 PPG in his career while almost always being a near double-digits APG player AND an elite, nearly 3 stock producer... the dude was an all-around monster.
- Efficiency! 47% from the field and 43% from deep for his career, even factoring in early years where he was still getting acclimated. There's not many guys who do everything right and outside of his rebounding, Steveniers was an elite contributor in every sense of the word whether that be offense, defense, stocks, passing, or efficiency.
Arguments Against Induction
- No ring! Unfortunately, Willie would've gone down as one of the most legendary players ever as it really feels as if he had a GOAT-level career even without the title.
- Willie ended up hopping around from team to team, spending 7 years in San Antonio, 4 years in Houston, 3 years in Indiana, and 2 years in Miami throughout his career. Usually, guys like Steveniers are impossible to get and spend their careers with the same team even when the team is struggling (a la Killian Hayes), so the fact that he played for four teams is a little surprising but not that unusual.
- The only real flaw in his game was his ability to rebound at 5'11, 185. Steveniers was pretty much a 4-ish RPG player for most of his career which is well below the standard of most GMs around here. Rest of his game definitely made up for it, but a small flaw in his game.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
