After a very strong defense-forward career, Ariel Hukporti's looking to cement his place in history as one of the quietly dominant defensive bigs of his era. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- For the last TWELVE years of his career, you were expecting 4+ stocks every game. That's incredibly impressive paired with 12+ RPG and double digits points over a lot of his career as what I'd call an average offensive contributor. He did just about whatever had to be done to help his team win games.
- 4 All-D teams and 2 All-League teams along with a couple of All-Star games, Hukporti found a way to get some recognition even without being the strongest offensive player in the world.
- Realistically, this is the type of guy you'd love to have on your team in a league where the majority of bigs are not at this caliber defensively or on the boards in terms of PFs. I think he definitely benefits from a weak position but he held his own.
Arguments Against Induction
- No title and not much offensive production will be what holds him back. He was an unreal defender, no doubt, and definitely held his own on the boards... but that's not what gets you into the Hall of Fame here.
- The awards are light even with the All-D teams propping him up a bit. You'd love to see more All-Leagues and All-Star games from a Hall of Fame level player.
- He does not compare well to most of the other Hall of Fame PF's and struggles pretty considerably when looking at the overall big group. It's tough to rationalize putting him in the same elite group as a guy like KAT or AD.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
