A pick and Natt is still solid and will open up more cap for next year.

Supply/demand. But I'm surprised more people didn't reach out to spike knowing all he was really missing from his lineup was a PG. 

Especially with that natt contract he had plenty of flexibility.

Could be bias, but DJ just made so much more sense than adams. Same offensive player, both have turnover issues, much better defender, and DJ has the MVP/All League 1st mentor for Rod. Plus would have costed a fraction of what was paid here. Granted, DJ's turnovers are just wild right now, but his last 2 teams he's played on are tanking teams, which are driving those TO up

I've been so tempted to take a shot at him the last few years but the contract would convince me otherwise. I think if I didnt have Walker, I would definitely be interested since there's only 2 years left

You told me 1K so idk how much of a fraction that would be of my pick lands 17-18-19.

Adams numbers per 38.5 mins that DJ got scored more points had more assist and had 1.3 less TOs . Shooting around the same %

Agree DJ would have been nice for Strickland but 40 mill on my books next year was something I’m not looking forward too

I think DJs contact gets overstated especially for non- competing teams.

Yeah, it's 40m but it's only 2 seasons, he's still a solid player, and there's not many MVP mentors left

I think you're really downplaying how important that mentor could be for a PG that needs his offense boosted. No argument with salary, but it's not like your team is in the position to be cap conscious when you have 2 really good players on rookie deals. If turnovers are the deciding factor, I truly get it because those DJ turnovers are scary right now, but I'd be pouncing on the ability to have a MVP or All League 1st Mentor for my young PG
