Yeah I almost went for Aguirre over Worthy but price was a fair bit higher and Worthy already signed long-term plus wasn't a fan of his defense with my team already lacking in that area so went with Big Game James instead

Seems like they're gonna struggle to keep Aguirre long-term without getting rid of one of their other core pieces but yeah core set for 1 1/2 seasons Lundqvist/Lever/King/Radja= 130,905,000 Ainge/Aguirre/Harper/Unsled/Cartwright= 122,883,055 So i think they will be just fine. Harper's contract is so great for them. Don't expect Aguirre to demand another max contract. Even if he needs to overpay to keep him I can see someone taking a flyer on Unseld when the big market is so weak. John just can't be cheap when it comes to offering Aguirre a contract. |

I don’t doubt what John is doing is good and he’s building a competitive squad but the dollars don’t go as far in most cases, not to mention you don’t win without a strong bench in this league with how many strong teams there are… that’s all, it’s a really hard cap crunch if you don’t have high end rookie depth to work with |

I don’t doubt what John is doing is good and he’s building a competitive squad but the dollars don’t go as far in most cases, not to mention you don’t win without a strong bench in this league with how many strong teams there are… that’s all, it’s a really hard cap crunch if you don’t have high end rookie depth to work with All I did was show how you had a core for that was more expensive than the 5 he would have now. Didn't take it to who was better. You said he would "struggle" but I don't think he would. Plus he can always go over at day 60 to build his bench. Not like that isn't an option. |

I had this offer in slightly different form on table for few days. Other trade talks never went anywhere and I wasn't interested in trading for a player like Dom Wilkins. SF tough to come buy right now on trade market. We upgraded without losing much depth abd added scoring.
