All it takes is 1 bad move to snowball into more bad moves. John has done this before. Shit I've done this before, its not hard to do. Ok but I wasn't even going this route when I was showing what the cap hit was. Was just proving with their contract structures(Cartwright, Harper having great contracts), Ainge at the time being his only true max contract that it should be possible for him to keep all of them. It's not out of the realm and he could sit back and fill out his roster just how donny has the past couple of seasons. Wasn't taking who the gm was intl consideration and then who was better got thrown out there. I was purely talking numbers and nothing else lol. Whether you meant to or not you compared (again financials or not) one the most successful runs in league history to a roster who hasn't fully realized itself. Whether that was your intention, context was always going to be brought up. And Donny is 100% matter, when Fat Lever is a name in the salary Convo, it makes everything a million times easier. |

Had zero to do with I kept this core together because they are great players. Was just showing that the 5 cost less than your 4. Means one less person you would have to worry bout rostering. To keep the core together is a different question then if they could keep it together. Also with the ability to go over the hardcap at day 60 it's way easier to keep a core together. |
