With a slow start to his career, the offensive production that Monroe would grow into was nothing short of remarkable while also being productive in other areas of his game. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- Monroe was first and foremost an elite offensive producer who took 24,000 shots over his career and was a consistent 45% shooter for a large part of his career with a pretty strong ability to distribute as well, as a consistent 8-9 APG player as well.
- Wherever he was, you knew what you were getting out of him. He was a consistently good first option who ended up propping up mediocre teams with a terrific amount of offensive firepower which is pretty much king around here with how the league has progressed.
- Defensively, too, he ended up turning into a very quality player who could get stocks and slow down the opposition regularly without much of an issue. 11 years in a row with 2+ stocks and 20+ points on a career 45% is pretty remarkable.
Arguments Against Induction
- No ring! He never ended up playing for a legitimate top-end contender over pretty much his entire career and did not see many deep playoff runs, so a ring was pretty far from attainable for him.
- No awards really. One All-Star appearance is going to be a tough argument even with guys like Lever, Walt, Dennis, and Magic dominating awards over his career.
- I think it's fair to say the player alone without anything else is realistically good enough to be in the Hall of Fame but I'm not sure you can say the same about his entire case. It's not an exactly "exciting" career here without many achievements or awards.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
