A quietly productive player for a decade plus, Paul Westphal steps up as an absolute bucket offensively AND a really good defender for quite a while. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- As mentioned in the intro, Westphal was a TERRIFIC offensive player who got 3+ stocks per game for a really long time. He turned into an incredibly talented scorer on volume and a really good defender throughout his career.
- A title winner with a few All-Star Game appearances, Westphal was among the Tier 2 SG's in the league for what I'd say was AT LEAST 12 years. Longevity was huge for a very high quality player like Westphal.
- While he didn't rebound the ball well, he did everything else extraordinarily well. He never had major turnover issues even on his rookie deal and established a 3.5-4 APG ability throughout his prime while being an elite score-first player with high-end defensive ability.
Arguments Against Induction
- No All-League teams and very light awards hurt his overall case. Considering how strong the position is, I definitely understand why he didn't make it to any All-League teams but man, it's tough to induct someone with an empty awards case.
- Considering the 6 years of his career where he just wasn't featured with volume or high minutes, it's tough to look at his overall stat averages and say "yeah, definitely a no doubt yes". There's a case, but it's going to be hit or miss.
- Was his prime ELITE enough to be considered a Hall of Fame player or was it a few years thrown in with what is primarily not considered elite production for the majority? It's a tough question to ask and answer, but one that will have to be touched upon here.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
