My biggest issue here is that not everyone is Joseph. That is a compliment and a detractor for this deal. The new GM isn't as likely to maximize Davis and his potential in a way that Joseph envisions here. This trade was directly inspired by Joseph's GM style in a way that I don't think it should for an interim GM. Its a headache for the league and I hope we get the team's filled so it doesn't become a true issue. My opinion on things is a bit between. An interim GM should be able to have freedom to push things along but they also probably shouldn't be making sweeping deals like this that are so influenced by their own specific GM style, especially when its one so specific to the GM at hand. And that's before mentioning the fact that Joseph is banking on a flawed prospect having his dreams come true with high potential that could very easily backfire because of said flaws |

The team in the cap crunch was trying to keep his own players and got lucky idk what you're trying to prove but the more you respond the stupider your argument gets also, you can very easily be in a cap crunch before free agency and end up without a cap crunch during the season lol i was in that situation before i got Wagner, it's really not that hard to take a step back and trade talent to fix your cap issues |

Maxwell is a fucking top SF still. This guy has won 4 fucking championships. He is only ONE fucking year older than Morrow.
We are getting back an elite prospect while keeping the Blazers somewhat competitive in the West.

Only reason it's even going to the committee is because one of the teams is run by an interim GM otherwise sure Silver would let it slide even though it's def light on value
