I <3 you Carlos but I just don't. That's fine I don't mind disagreement. I hate being called sleazy or shady bc I made a deal with one of the more respected GMs in the league. There's only 1 gm here who personally attacks people when he doesn't like a trade. I think this trade is consistent with every time we've seen star players get traded, including this offseason, including interim GMs. I also think its a little dishonest to say I can just offer this to someone else after Donny spent most of the thread saying Davis is trash. Shutting the deal down effectively kills any trade talks I had. Not saying that should be taken into account, but it's just the truth |

The name calling though doesn't need to be there though. Donny would be a great heel in WWE for sure.

Shady would be if this wa a new GM I just don’t like the deal because they don’t have their firsts. Interim GMs should not move stud players without the team having their firsts. Now if CKriz wants to move him then that’s fine it’s his team. |

Not saying that should be taken into account, but it's just the truth I haven’t once said Davis is trash but he is not the centerpiece in a package back for the best SF in the league in his prime If you want to keep complaining because I had an honest opinion that others shared (and is the right opinion in this specific instance), that’s fine. I even went out of my way to scout the guy to see if he had something crazy underlying. He’s going to be a good player for sure but the fact at hand here is that the deal does not do enough for the previously interim’d GM’s team considering they’re pickless and off to a very good start to the season. Not good value, not the way an interim should handle their team, and not smart considering the point of the season we’re in. |

Biggest takeaways of this: 1. Sounds like the FBB switch needs to be flipped to CPU instead of having interim. 2. It isn’t a coincidence that I’m able to draft quality players late in the draft! 1. Sounds like the interims shouldn’t try making blockbuster deals with a late bloomer and PED camp in mind LMFAOOOOO embarrassing rationale to a brutally bad deal |

Eh, Spike traded the 8th pick and a Blazer first to make a run at (at best) the 8th seed. One of the new guys passed on that situation after picking them. I found this just as egregious. Only this one's getting attention because Donny decided. I can at least understand this one because 100 potential is 100 potential, and I once couldn't get offers for prime Sabonis. Except it’s not |

Melo is one of the consistently great GMs who has a very strong pulse on player values and he disagrees with the trade
Dash is a very good GM sometimes and he disagrees with the trade
John has been among the West’s strongest GMs in recent years and he disagrees with the trade
Need I go on? It’s not just me and even if I didn’t share my opinion, that trade was horrible

Sounds like the most fair trade we've had UC - has no issue because he spent the first 15 seasons of the league fleecing everyone in a similar fashion John - still has an issue and his opinion is valid even if his trade wasn't up to snuff Joseph - he made the trade because he thinks he's a prospect whisperer who is going to be interim of the team until July 2023 cmon man |
