Good work not addressing my initial message calling you out for offering one of the worst trades I’ve ever received to instead try to trash a perennial MVP candidate point guard who is still playing at a super high level No wonder the Jazz are never relevant anymore Yeah offered you a guy who outplayed Frazier when it matters most. Would make 10 mill less and won't be making 50 mill at the age of 36. The other player I actually have a plan for. You had no depth with this team and that def hurt you. But you feel Frazier still has such huge value and will sit on him till you find someone who is gonna overpay like the Pistons did for king. But thanks for taking my bite. Walt's ratings in 2041 when he won MVP and Playoff MVP: A- A- A A - C C Walt's ratings now: A- A- A B+ C D (pre +10 quickness boost he'll receive when the season is over) Considering Walt has 2 rings and 2 Playoff MVPs and Boot has never won a title, Frazier is the one who plays well when it matters... clearly. Furthermore, there's been virtually no decline up to this point, so we're talking about an MVP caliber player at the one position where you NEED a high-end player or else you'll fall apart when it matters most. I'm also very well-managed when it comes to my cap, so I don't have any need to trade him.. just feels like he should have a lot of value to any team that doesn't have a legit PG because he instantly makes you a title contender if you have the pieces around him whereas Boot doesn't and won't. The guy is ONE YEAR removed from a 34.7/9.1 year at PG lol, get a grip there. Also, my depth this season was among the best in the league. Monchito, Creeper, Pierce, Thorpe, Matthews, and Bradtke would all find roles on contender level teams elsewhere, so that's a misguided attempt. I won 59 games, the same amount as the Wizards who went $108M over. Seems like I wouldn't have been able to do that without all the moves I made this off-season to get Walt, Wagner, and a bunch of depth. Finally, while I'm here, you moved Boot and a pick one slot out of the lottery to move down, replace Boot with Elway, who has the same flaws and is less of a contributor... and took on Unseld who is overpaid by about $15 million... you kinda proved my point with the lack of value. EDIT: And then you moved the guys you got for Buck Williams, who is making $44M to.. rebound? |

I was told that Walt and Wagner were better SG/SF duo than Elway and Tinkerbell. Do what you want with that info Walt > Elway Franz and Tinkerbell are pretty close I'd say. I think Wagner's clearly the more efficient offensive player and a stronger defender (not by much), Tinkerbell is the better rebounder and produced more PPG on higher volume. Wagner's the better passer, Tinkerbell turns the ball over less... marginal differences both ways Not like I was insulting either of those players, not the case at all |

It wasnt just for the draft note. My whole offseason last year got fucked over by Jones retiring.
I would have never traded Walker if I knew Jones would have retired. I did that trade because of the cap situation to resign Mitch. I drafted Simmons to use Jones for the draft note. Hell, i also drafted Causewell hoping to mentor him and then mentor Strong. I traded for King to improve the roster.
I think I wouldve made the playoffs if King hadnt missed like 20 games on these 4 to 5 day injuries. Then Richmond missed games on a short injury. Same with Jackson. Just a bunch of stupid little injuries. The team was actually decent when everyone was healthy

Got all the pieces to do so and young talent to take the next step. |
