Holy cow there's been a lot of moving going on so far and teams have been known for like 2 days lol. So here are my grades minus my deals. Have a different article I am gonna do with them.
Pacers recieve:
Immanuel Quickley
Mitchell Robinson
Knicks Receive:
Benedict Mathurin
TJ McConnell
2024 Pacers 1st
2025 Pacers 1st
Pacers grade: B
My breakdown for this is that I really like what the pacers bring back. Robinson will add another element to defense and rebounding that they lack with Toppin as the PF. Quickley looks prime to be a 6th man of the year candidate right off the bat and that really helps their depth. Big question is this enough to make them a true contender? No SF and Haliburton being their only true star are they good enough? Giving up two picks could hurt if the latter is true.
Knicks grade: B-
I think the knicks did alright in this deal but they could have gotten more if patient. Defense/rebounding is not easy to find and a player like Robinson could have gotten the Knicks at least two first or more as youll come to see. But overall Mathurin might have a chance and two picks is a solid return but patience might have gotten them more.
Knicks Trade
Miles McBride
Spurs Trade
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Knicks grade: B
McBride doesn’t look like much outside of a pass first PG who will offer zero on offense. SO to get a decent looking big in Sandro is a nice return for someone I am sure they didn’t see much of anything out of.
Spurs grade: C-
Don’t see if for the Spurs. I guess they see him as an upgrade over jones and because he can’t score at all he won’t take shts from Wemb or Vassell but I feel they could have gotten him for much less tan a solid big who could have some interesting value with B- shooting and B- rebounding.
Cavs Trade:
Caris Levert
Georges Niang
Isaac Okoro
2024 First
2025 First
2026 First
Knicks Trade:
RJ Barrett
Isaiah Hartenstein
Cavs grade: B+
With how their rosters is constructed all they really lacked was a SF. Getting Barrett will reound out this team well and Hartenstein only adds more depth to their quality big man rotation. Giving up 3 firsts is steep but their team is young and should be together that the picks won’t matter. All you will come to see is a similar built SF went for far less and that hurts to see.
Knicks grade: B
I love Lavert. He is a favorite payer who overcame plenty in his life and is instant offense and could be a pleasant surprise in the nbn. Getting 3 picks is always nice in any trade unless you’re trading a superstar in which I don’t think they are. RJ could get better but he isn’t top tier so him and a bench big for 3 firsts is a nice return and a solid player as well. Now you would like to come out with expirings in this instance but overall I think they did well.
Nuggets trade:
DeAndre Jordan
Justin Holiday
$250
Suns trade:
Drew Eubanks
Yuta Watanabe
Nuggets grade: B
I like Eubanks. I think he is very solid for what bigs are looking like in year one of the NBN. Also to only move $250 cash is an easy win for sure. Bigs with at least B- rebounding have much higher value than what was given.
Suns trade: C
Feel the suns did them selves a disservice here in moving a big who could have garnished them more money while also both holiday and Jordan no longer being on the roster shows how little value they held.
Bucks send
Malik Beasley
Nets send
Dennis Smith Jr
Bucks grade: C
Not seeing it for the bucks. Smith is meh as he is a PG who doesn’t shoot and will obviously be behind Lillard. The Bucks don’t have much shooting outside of Lillard and Brook lopez so you would think Beasley would be someone you would want to hold onto especially when the amnestied Middleton. Maybe they want to go a more inside focus which would help with DSJ and his amazing hops.
Nets grade: B
Beasley brings A- shooting and C+defense which is a very nice build for someone you expect to be a spark off the bench. Adding more depth behind Cam Thomas as LWV is there as well. There will be plenty of shooting to surround Ben Simmons for sure
Jazz send:
Talen Horton-Tucker
$500
Thunder send:
Vasilije Micic
Jazz grade: C+
I see what they see for sure. Micic is signed long term to THT being an expiring and he is a better overall PG but THT has some very good promise and I don’t think $500 was really needed to be added or was a little steep in this situationbeing that they are very similar builds. But I totally get it.
Thunder grade: B+
I love this type of move. Get a player who is 22 with upside and also gaining cash for camps needed for such a young team. THT fits the thunder timeline better and if he can be resigned he could be a very nice piece to be behind SGA(if he is still around). But why not take a shot on a guy while giving up one who is 29 and probably no more growth left.
Pelicans send:
Herbert Jones
Pelicens 2nd round 2024 pick
Kings send:
Monk
Pelicans grade: B
I like Monk. Good shooting and decent defense. Seems to be plenty of these builds in the league but the Pelicans needed one of them to pair next to CJ. It filled out their roster and helps shape the starting 5 with some extra shooting.
Kings grade: B+
Logical trade here when the kings have a similar player in Huerter and needed some juice in another area. I really like Jones I was looking at a way to acquire him. His C rebounding isn’t great but the rest of his build is very nice. He can also be the main backup at SF and that was needed for the kings. Just a great overall trade for both teams.
Heat send
PG K Lowry
SF J Jacquez Jr
PF K Love
Heat 2025 and 2026 Firsts
Lakers send
PF Anthony Davis
Heat grade: A+
I think this was an easy grade here. I got sniped for Davis and felt my offer was better but I digress. The heat gave up nothing of value for them in this deal. Their fillers are old af and had no future on the roster and JJJ looks solid as a prospect but I don’t like a SF with C inside. Now the one piece I can see being of some trouble could be the 26 first and then finding a PG when you don’t wanna move certain players. Regardless a home run for the heat.
Lakers grade: D
When you come to see other trades you’ll come to understand that the Lakers sold very short on one of the best bigs in this game. Davis is gonna be a beast and think they could have done better with maybe another pick and some cash or losing a contract they didn’t want on the roster. It really comems down to the fact other bigs got sold for similar packages that aren’t on the level of a Davis. That will have to sting for sure.
76ers Get:
Robert Williams
Blazers Get:
Paul Reed
Danuel House
2024 & 2025 76ers 2nd Round Picks
$750
76ers grade: B+
I like it for the 76ers. Puts a nice defensive minded big next to Embiid when they lacked one. They moved a solid looking prospect in reed and a good chunk of cash but no firsts helps the most. Cash can be made so that right there is a win for me.
Blazers grade: B-
I get why the blazers would prefer cash over a pick. They have so much talent that they will want to camp so cash is king. I do like Reed as I thought bout making a move for him. C+ in the main key areas and still has the ability to grow but I feel it would be best for the blazers to find a partner to trade him to to add to the cash they need.
76ers Get:
Jordan Clarkson
Jazz Get:
Marcus Morris
Furkan Korkmaz
$250
76ers grade: B
This is a low risk trade for the 76ers. Moved zero player of value and a small amount of cash. Can’t really beat that to try and add instant offense in Clarkson. The 76ers needed that with only Embiid and Maxey on the roster at the time of this trade.
Jazz grade: C+
Maybe sold a little short on Clarkson but I can see they wanted to rid themselves of his contract being that it was over 23 mill and can make the return close to nothing. But value of player a little more cash should have come their way.
Grizz send:
Bismack Biyombo
Otto Porter
John Konchar
Jacob Gilyard
Suns send:
Gary Trent
Grizz grade: C-
Biyambo was seen as a very good big in the grizz eyes and with his rebounding you would think they would gain something instead of nothing. Also feel Porter had some value too.
Suns grade: B+
Taking advantage of a team looking to open roster space for pending FA is a great move especially when it don’t hurt to add solid talent.
Sixers send
PF T Harris
PF N Batum
Sixers 2024 and 2025 First
250$
Lakers Send
SF L James
SF C Reddish
Sixers grade: A-
Anytime you get LeBron it is a win but at the age of 39 no guarantee he stays passed this year but if he wins a title for you then it is a true win. Also Harris being a PF hurts his value a ton and Batum is dead weight. So they upgraded big time at PF and will really push for a championship.
Lakers grade: C
Its Lebron and you expect more even if he is 39. That 25 first could be really nice if Lebron does retire and Maxey jumps ship. If not then they got 2 late firsts and a small amount of cash. That really hurts to see. Good thing is though that the lakers should suck big time and get a good pick in this coming draft.
Spurs send
Zach Collins
Bucks send
Robin Lopez
Thanasis Antetokounmpo
Skylar Mays (was on Blazers prior to trade)
Andre Jackson JR.
$300 cash
Spurs grade: B-
Not much to see here outside a small money grab. Collins is solid especially with B- B- scoring for a center but with C+ rebounding he doesn’t have the greatest value. So I get it for the spurs to just get a little something for him.
Bucks grade: B+
Collins as a backup 4/5 makes him look much more valuable than having to start him. He can fill in for Brook nicely and feel like he offense wouldn’t miss a beat and only giving up 300 cash for a good bench big is a win in my book.
Grizz send:
Thaddeus Young
$300
Horners send:
cap space
Grizz grade: C+
Not much to see here but gaining cap space and losing some cash. The next trade after this made me scratch my head though.
Hornets grade: B
Why not get some cash when you have some cap to spare and if you aren’t too big on what you could get in FA. VSO actually answering a pm is a win too.
Grizz send:
Xavier Tillman
cap space
$500
Jazz send:
Kelly Olynyk
Taylor Hendricks
Grizz grade: D+
I don’t get the trade at all. Creating all this space whichseemed for FA to just give up 12+ mill in cap away doesn’t make much sense to me. I totally get going after your guy but id you have to eat that cap and give a nice amount of cash to do so? Just feel like a good play by the Jazz
Jazz grade: A-
Well played. Olynyk was never in the Jazz plans and they opened up a bunch of cap to go hard at FA for a prospect they must have not been to big on. Add on getting a camp worthy of cash is always a win. Now the Jazz can be big players in FA or use the cap to garnish more assets. All depends which way they want to play it.
Brooklyn Nets Trade
Spencer Dinwiddie
Trendon Watford
Harry Giles
2024 2025 2026 BKN 2nds
2024 2025 2026 LAC 2nds
Boston Celtics Trade
Jaylen Brown
Nets grade: A
What a grab for the Nets. Brown will be a big time boost for this nets squad who could use some extra star power to their roster. The only reason it isn’t an A+ is because Bridges is at SF already. But I am intrigued with seeing Brown play the 2/3/4 off the bench. The Celtics could of tried this when they made that trade with the Knicks that is no longer but he wasn’t interested. So I wanna see if this works plus zero firsts given is a steal and a half.
Celtics grade: F
This is just bad. I get being screwed by the rules but damn don’t just hand a star away like this. 6 seconds from teams I don’t expect to be bad does this franchise nothing. I just don’t get it. Sure one or two first would have been given if patient but damn this one hurts even my soul.
Dallas
Hardaway
Holmes
Hardy
Powell
24, 25, 26, 27 1sts
500
Celtics
Tatum
Kornet
Dallas grade: A+++
Homerun hitter. This leads to dallas to having a 3 headed monster with Tatum/Doncic/Irving and that’s scary. Plus the biggest part is not giving up Lively and that should have been a must in this trade. He is their best piece and when getting a superstar you should totally have to move that piece. But he held him and boom still got the deal done. Great negotiating.
Celtics grade: C+
This isn’t as bad as the Brown deal because he got 4 firsts in the deal so I can’t give it an F even though I don’t like it. On top of that Hardaway should get some traction for a deal so maybe he can gather up another pick or some good amount of cash. But still not a fan of this one bit.
Clippers trade
zubac
24 2nd
25 2nd
26 2nd
nets trade
O neal
24 1st
25 1st
26 1st
Clippers grade: A+
No way in hell should Zubac get you 3 firsts. Just no way at all. But when you show A rebounding and it’s a game people will think you need to. So yeah this a homerun hit for the clippers here. That 26 1st could be a gold mine and if it is they win this trade even more.
Nets grade: C+
I won’t kill them for this deal but think they just really overpaid. Zubac should be worth a first and a good amount of cash or 2 seconds at most but when the file is watered down a guy showing A rebounding will get some people going crazy shown by this deal. Now I hope it doesn’t backfire for the Nets but I totally can see that happening when you trade for a non superstar and give away all or most your assets.
Bucks send
bobby portis
pat connaughton

Blazers send
anfernee simons
duop reath
skylar mays
Bucks grade: C+
Don’t really get the trade. Not a fan of Simons and his C- efense and everyone else looks like a wash and added 500 cash. Yeah just don’t understand this but least the next trade makes it make sense.
Blazers grade: B+
Got out of Simons awful contract and got 500 cash so to me that is the ultra type of win there. Perfect move for a franchise who already has their starting SG for the future.
Bucks send
Anfernee Simons
Zach Collins
Duop Reath
24 1st
Celtics send
Jrue Holiday
Bucks grade: B-
Getting Holiday and getting rid of Simons is a win all on its own. But with all the trades the bucks made they have to hope that they don’t get hurt or that 24 1st could be valuable. Holiday at the 2 might not work though but we will have to see.
Celtics grade: B+
Holiday has an ok build and to come out with a first is a win and their best moves they have made so far. Sucks taking on that Simons contract but when youre rebuilding contracts like that don’t hurt
