Simulation! *Nerd disclaimer* I believe it is the rim that is blocking the base of the backboard lighting. So beam overrides the dullness of the rim. However when the top of backboard/shotclock and the beam meets the direct lights of the boards override the illumination from the beam. Or i'm just a dumb fuck |
