Another loaded FA class! Teams with cap space should be ecstatic. You have stars, depth and intriguing young players.
1. SF Jayson Tatum, 28, B+ A C B- C A
2nd best SF in the league had a little bit of a down year in Portland (who didn’t?). In his prime and would be a HUGE FA prize
2. C Chet Holmgren, 24, B A- C+ A- B+ C
Most years he would be #1. Needs to add a little rebounding to become “elite” but is a do it all big. Should run the league with Wemby for years to come
3. C Bam Adebayo, 29, A- C C- A- B+ C
Bam’s offensive numbers are a bit inflated due to his team last year, but he’s still a top end big who can give you an efficient 20ppg. Is a good, not great rebounder. Is a great positional defender but lacks elite stocks
4. PF Paolo Banchero, 23, B A- C B C+ B (Pending resign)
Tier drop from the top 3. Paolo probably is best used as a backup 3-5 due to his lack of rebounding for a standard PF. Is a legit shooting threat from a big man. Still only 23yo
5. PG Donovan Mitchell, 30, B+ A- C B- C- C
Efficiency dropped big time. Is it a one off or did he start to decline? He was ~49% first 2 seasons and dropped to 43%. Is a PG who can only play SG. Still one of the best scoring guards in the league.
6. SF Brandon Ingram, 29, B+ A- B- C C B
I don’t know what to do with Ingram. He’s a good scorer and that’s about it, but hard to find 17-20ppg at SF right now.
7. C Mark Williams, 24, B C- D B+ A- C
His 12rpg is a little inflated due to the lack of rebounding on the Hornets, but he could easily be a 12r/2b big in his prime and he has a career 44% FG% which is good for a young big.
8. C Jalen Duren, 22, B C- C- B+ A- A
Similar to Mark Williams. Mark is a little older but a little more polished.
9. C Rudy Gobert, 34, B- D+ D- A- A- D
Still a very good big who gives you defense and rebounding and doesn’t hurt you offensively, but will be 34yo
10. C Jaren Jackson Jr, 27, B+ B- D B+ B- C
Good Ole JJJ. Inefficient scorer who can shoot from 3. Gives you a ton of blocks and a subpar rebounder. Still only 27yo.
Honorable Mention
PG Kyrie Irving, 34, C+ A- B- C+ C- D
SF Mikal Bridges, 30, B- B C- B- C C
C Mitchell Robinson, 28, C+ D- D- B A- B
C Deandre Ayton, 27, C+ C- D+ B+ A- B
SF Paul George, 36, B- A- C- C+ C D
SG Tyler Herro, 26, B- A- C C+ C- C
SG Malik Monk, 28, B- A- C+ C+ C- C
PG James Harden, 37, C A- A- B C- C
PG Lonzo Ball, 29, C A B- A- C B
PF Jabari Smith, 23, C+ B+ D+ B B A
