I suggested the Spurs go big and make a move. I didn’t think Reid was an option to be traded. Feels like a lot for Mobley, unless the Mobley we are seeing this season is legit, then it’s a fair deal. If he’s anything closer to his career norms then it feels like an overpay.
Bucks pick will likely be in the 6-8 range unless I can work some magic. Reid looks legit. He’ll never be a shot blocker but he’s one of the best big man prospects in the league.
Was Booker instead of Reid an option? Booker + 6-8 pick + Spurs pick (~20th) feels fair

Yes Reid seems like he should have stayed. Think it's a overpay but sometimes you have to when you want that player.

Mobley looks solid, I think it is a good deal for both as long as the Spurs follow up by adding some more talent.

I think it's an ok deal but the Spurs are in a weird spot having traded all their best assets from the Wemby trade and not coming out with a true #1 option

I don’t have scouts, but I preferred Reid to Booker. Sounds like Charles feels the opposite and he has more information than I do.
Is Booker over Reid the consensus feeling?

I always prefer to get a great prospect over a haul of draft capital for this specific situation.

Never been a fan of moving young stud talent to gain more young prospects. Either move the young stud for a dominant player or move the dominant player for a young stud

I think it's just preference. Booker looks like a future DPOY while Reid looks like he could be a great scorer but average defender. You can win with either kind of big but most people just load up on shot blockers

Reid is not the kind of big i like, hence why I passed on him, but he still looks like a really good young player at a position that is bleak right now
