Can the big 3 of jokic/bane/maxey get it done or do you feel you need the extra depth?

You ever get bored of winning? Well maybe not just winning, but winning with the same key pieces? I think the only piece that's been the same across my teams is Maxey. I generally get bored and blow it up after a couple of seasons but end up regretting it as rebuilding kinda sucks outside of drafting and camping. I've had enough challenges with the salary cap and losing key pieces to FA to keep me entertained this time around but I'm definitely getting the itch to start over.

Did FBB do you dirty last postseason? Was the fix in? I don't think so. The Grizzlies matched up really well with me and had just as much talent. I think I had more top end talent but they had the depth and a more complete roster, so I'm not entirely surprised they won.

Were you sweating it out with FA and the potential to not bring back Jokic? What was your backup plan if you lost him? It would've sucked but ultimately I think as long as I have Maxey I can put together a playoff team to tread water for a while until I have more assets to either rebuild or go all-in again before Maxey gets old. Backup plan would've been to build a team around the pieces I had and look for good value replacements. I basically did that last year with Embiid and ended up adding MPJ and Sengun for what I thought were good deals before going all-in with Jokic.

What else do you have do (or have you already)to surpassed the Heats run in NBN2? I think that's gonna be tough. You were able to sustain that success for so long because you had a bunch of picks and drafted well, so you could replenish your assets every year and had a consistent wave of cheap contracts contributing. I've bumped up against the hard cap every year and have only drafted 2 players I think in 5 seasons. I'm gonna have to win another one in the next year or two since I don't know how we'll sustain these salaries as Jokic ages and Maxey gets his next contract.

What’s the move under rated move you’ve made so far? I think my best moves were trading LeBron for a bunch of depth pieces after year 1 and getting Bane for some cash a few seasons ago. The LeBron trade got me Isaiah Stewart, who has started on all my championship teams, and all the depth pieces I moved for Ingram which led to our first title. The Bane deal replaced Ingram who left in FA and has given me an All-Star level SG for almost nothing when those are near impossible to find around the league.

Do you wish you held onto vassell and Sengun? Yeah kind of but you never know when you'll have another chance at a championship so I couldn't help myself from going all-in on Jokic. Realistically, I probably would've been better off with Sengun & Vassell this year since my depth is kinda rough and both fit Bane & Maxey's timelines perfectly.

Can the big 3 of jokic/bane/maxey get it done or do you feel you need the extra depth? I haven't gotten any offers I felt comfortable breaking them up for, so I guess it'll have to do. Worst case, I'll try to pick up some depth pieces post-ASG while not just completely blowing up my luxury tax. I'm not sure how I'm gonna do it, but I'm gonna need to get them some help.

Its always great to have starts up and down the lineup..which do you consider the most important to have . A dominant Big , a Solid combo / gaurd who just gets buckets, or the top notch PG who seems to make everything go?

You are always very active on the trade Market , are there any players that you missed out on that you would have love to acquired.?

It's pretty rare to win a title without a star PG while you can win with defensive and rebounding big men. This version of the league has been a little weird to start since the Wolves won without a good PG and SGA is probably in the second tier of PGs around the league

The beginning of last year was super frustrating as I was trying to replace Embiid and missed out on Claxton, Jokic, Giannis, and trading back for Embiid. I ended up getting Jokic at the deadline but felt like I struck out on every big man available before then
