With soo many "bad" teams competing for the nr1 pick you think you ll have achance at it? Wouldnt you better have kept Ariza?

I don't think I would even get the proper return on wemby but I am happy with making sure I returned all my picks and added 8 picks total in a deal from the return. So I am happy with that and happy with going to a rebuild because getting knocked out in the 2nd round 2 years in a row wasn't fun and I needed a change. |

I wanted my pick back so had to give up ariza to get it which I totally didn't want to do but had to do. I probably could have kept him and vassell and made a decent record making that pick not so great. But least this way it's a clean slate and I get to see if kiyan Anthony can make something of himself. I need him to start to get to that note. So all in all it made sense. Now if I can grab that first pick with my pick it will work out for the best. If not I could come to regret it. |

I feel you had a solid squad just needed to tweak it but totally understand the tear down My biggest problem wad a put myself in a cash hole way too large that I had to figure it out on the fly. Wasn't motivated to write articles and was going on vacation that it would hinder me. So i really just said fuck it let's break it down and start over yourk style |

How do you rate the end return that you got for Jokic/Wemby (and Vassell to a lesser extent)? The jokic return was great. Sengun/vassell and 2 picks for an expiring big who was gonna get paid was for sure the best outcome. Turned sengun into a top 10 pick. Wemb I liked the return and overall turned it into 8 overall picks just like I gave away to get him. Ariza looked legit and loved sherrell and was attached to him. So yeah I was fine with it. Vassell on the other hand I feel I sold short. I feel he was worth the same type of package as Sherrell but his expiring hurt his value. Could have done better but I wanted to break or down as far as I could so took the best I could receive. Now if I had been patient maybe someone would have come with a better offer but who knows. |

What was the highlight moment of your time when you were competing? Trading the haul of picks to get wemb/vassell. I put the league on their head and changed the market. That right there was as fun as it got and to watch him win 2 dpoty while in a raptors uniform was great to see as well. |

What was your thought process of breaking down and rebuilding a perennial contending team?..im sure cap had a huge hand in that

Typically what is your time frame on the rebuild process? 4 or 5 seasons..or does it just depend in whats available , or how things break in the draft?

I was gonna be negative 5300 and with no real way to get out of it I knew I had to break it down. So if I didn't put myself in such a hole I would have made tweaks over a full fledge breakdown but that wasn't the case. |
