1. Cooper Flagg PF 6'9'' 215 23 A- A- B+ A- A- B
The standout of the class and easily the best FA since the start of the league, coming off two all league 1st teams and only 23 yrs old, has dominated the league and will continue to do so for many years, Christmas comes early for anyone who can manage to convince him to leave Washington
2. LaMelo Ball PG 6'7'' 180 28 B A+ B+ B C B
Ball has had a very decorated career in a Hornets jersey but has yet to really have any team success, which could tempt him to look elsewhere which would hurt the franchise massively if he walked, apart from his excessive turnovers, Balls game is one of the best in the league so every GM out there with cap will definitely be throwing the MAX at him
3. Dame Sarr. SF 6'6'' 200 23 A- A- C+ B+ C- A
Any other FA Class would likely have Sarr as the top FA however due to the strength of this class his dropped down a couple spots, although his already hit all league status and as an All Star it still feels like Sarr has a lot more room to grow, the below average boards will not deter any GM from giving him the maximum contract that he deserves
4. Nic Claxton C 6'11'' 215 30 B+ D C- A- A- C
Coming off a massive year winning DPOTY and winning a ship you'd think that would be enough to convince him to offer to resign with the Kings yet here we are, players like Nic dont grow on trees and his newly crowned mentor status will only strengthen his value, his first max was criticized however if he received another one this time around I think the reception will be a lot more positive
5. Egor Demin PG 6'7'' 200 23 B- A- A B- C C
Bit of a drop off after the top 4 however Demin has come off a solid Season which would have been close to getting an All Star nod, at 23 his in prime position to get a long well payed contract however the question is there enough in the tank to be a long term star
6. Lauri Markkanen. PF 7'0'' 240 32 B+ A- D- C+ B D
A big that shot the ball will always have value and that will continue for Lauri until he retires, at 32 his getting to the ass end of his career however I can still see him continuing to score at a high level for another couple years, should get paid well however the question is for how many years will a GM be willing to offer
7. Matas Buzelis SF 6'10'' 200 25 B+ B+ B B C+ B
A late addition to FA, Matas had a break out year after getting dealt to the Raptors, who knows how good a player Matas could have been had the previous Celtics GM invested more time into developing him but we'll never know, that reason along makes me slightly hesitant to slap the MAX on him without knowing whats under the hood.
8. Trey Alexander PG 6'4'' 195 27 B B+ B B+ D+ B
Honestly haven’t taken much notice of Trey previously but then haven’t looked much at the Rockets either, but Trey looks like his carved a nice foundation to build on which hopefully continues to blossom and with some nice fringes he looks a TC away from getting even better, what he gets offered will likely be too excessive though
9. Felix Okpara C 6'11'' 235 26 B- D+ C- A- A- B
Felix could have been listed at 5 however I just think his game is little too one dimensional, which isn’t a bad thing however are his strengths strong enough for a GM to give him a max, Claxton is the type of player you’d hope Felix would develop into but I feel that his flaws are going to hold him back from reaching those heights
10. Donovan Mitchell PG 6'3'' 215 33 B+ A C+ C+ D+ D
Still a very damaging scorer who should continue his scoring dominance for a few more Seasons, no career accomplishments does put a dent in his value as he would have been an excellent mentor had he reached all star level, should still get paid well though
11. Desmond Bane SG 6'5'' 215 31 B- A C+ B- C- C
Was a time when Bane didn't hold much value yet his still manages to come out and put up very impressive all round numbers every night, which I think ought to earn him the respect of being one of top SGs in the league especially at a time where the position is still very highly sought after, do I think GMs will offer him huge money, no, but that doesn't mean I don't think he deserves it
12. Walker Kessler C 7'0'' 245 28 C+ D+ F+ A- B+ C
If you miss out on the Claxton or Felix sweepstakes then Kessler would be a excellent pick up, has been a defensive beast throughout his career and shouldn’t demand the high price that the top tier FAs are asking
13. Jarrett Allen C 6'11'' 245 31 C+ D D- A- A- C
Another solid big that will get some money coming to him this FA, doesnt get as big of numbers compared to the other bigs in the class but if you can manage to get his signature on a reasonable contract then you'd away happy
14. Caleb Foster PG 6'4'' 183 25 B B B B C- B
Caleb is another young player who has shown what his capable of when giving the opportunity, question is whether his legit and can be the go to guy on a team or the likely a super backup who will get the occasional 30+ game, having another year up his sleeve to be camped might be tempting enough for a GM to throw a bag of cash his way
15. Joel Embiid C 7'0'' 280 35 A- B+ C A- A- D
Only reason the big fella is rated this far back is clearly because his going to be basically a one year player, has had a fantastic career which should get a HOF nod come next offseason, will be a major target for a GM craving a big time mentor for a little runt who's trying to find their place in the league
16. Karl Anthony Towns C 7'4'' 250 33 B A- D- C+ B C
Was an absolute machine in the first couple of Seasons but has slowly dropped off as the file has progressed, probably wouldn't be a player you would have earning starter minutes but will be a very sweet backup who can help develop another fellow big who doesn't mind the occasional chuck
