IMO, camping was nerfed to a point where you have to have a top tier prospect to even make it worth while to invest in a player--At the end of the day, the guys with the better TCs will be better. There are plenty of players who were picked outside of the top 5 that are worth investing in. Even a couple 2nd round players have earned max contracts or starting spots on championship teams. +1 I'm actually quite proud of how balanced the drafts have been. There have been guaranteed type top of the draft prospects but there is value to be found 1 through ~40

I feel like the last 2 drafts top 5 picks have been toss ups. Not a bad thing bad top tier for me is like a top 2 guarantee and then good players after

I guess drafts now in real life don’t really have guaranteed number 1s so ignore me just speaking out loud

Im not gonna lie ive been doin sims for over 20 years and made drafts myself as well but these drafts have been one of my favorites. Love the notes. Love the stipulations. Love the deflation. Its crazy how much youth ive been able to get while only tanking one full season

I liked Mitch a bunch and thought he shoulda been number 1 and then the Eddie without the note is prolly top 5-6 and towards the end of that too. Just a couple of years with some tough declarations. There is a 50/50 chance this year of Stockton, World B Free, Ralph Sampson that would all three be #1 candidates. People should like the declaration list for freshman this year We should get a good top end class soon.

TC has more sway than any improvement camp which is fine. Since mentors are busted and the classes imo have not been as "elite" outside the top 3 is that sometimes its better to have a mentor and pick 14 then being the 5th pick in the draft. Thats my only gripe outside of my super talented young rockets team flopping for the most part.

Clippers - C Adem Bona 17. Warriors - PG Ryan Nembhard 2025 5. Thunder - PG Bronny James 2025 14. Cavs - C Felix Okpara 15. Spurs - PG Tahaad Pettiford 16. Celtics - PF Omaha Biliew 17. Thunder - PF Kyle Filipowski. 2026 5. Pelicans - PG Labaron Philon 2026 14. Cavaliers - SF Jalen Haralson 15. Jazz - PF Bryson Tiller 16. Celtics - SG Jasper Johnson 17. Warriors - SF Vrenz Bleijenbergh 2027 5. Cavaliers - SG Dylan Harper 2027 14. Bucks - PF Caleb Gaskins 15. Knicks - C Xavion Staton 16. Nuggets - SG JJ Anddrews 17. Thunder - C Abraham Joum Maker Bol How is your assertion true? It has only played out as true once, in 2025, but again in the context it doesn't ring true even still. The "safe" rebounding and shot blocking bigs don't go so high because their upside is lower than a teenager with A potential playing PG/SG. 2026 Philon was a wash but those 4 guys are all awfull. Whats better to me though is that every player I Posted here had a chance to be good. Basketball development IRL is a bit random and doesn't always have rhyme or reason. TC does a good job showcasing that but even though the camp system is scaled back it still can push players in the right directions. Always tough to read how things are supposed to read in text so just to throw this out here: I like this conversation, I like having it. I'm not being defensive of my draft classes, I'm looking at what people are saying and trying to determine if I Need to change things with how the classes are made or if the "criticism" holds merit.

Hopefully Stockton gets a redemption ark this go round I'll just say it, I'm trying to make him an elite PG this time around. His real life counterpart and how FBB makes it kind of hard for that to be the case but I might take some creative liberties. Stockton is ass in almost every league in FBB. Its a shame.

Couldn't he be built like Marques Haynes (I think was the Heat PG during their run in V2) with better steals? Elite ball handling and playmaking, good efficient shooting, and add elite steals. Haynes won a bunch of championships and I think got an MVP too

I've tried, but I can't think of a good way to incentivize teams to try to be 45-37 rather than seeing they aren't a contender and trading all their assets to aim for a top draft pick. Tracking it and editing attributes would be a bitch, but I wish we could simulate the impact of a winning culture in FBB. If your team makes the playoffs, players on rookie contracts get a boost in certain ratings and if you miss it multiple years in a row, they get downgraded.
