Good thing is the 12 team field. Easily can bounce back and still make the playoffs. Not with that guy as your QB. Theyre gonna lose to Clemson and Notre Dame for sure. Still not sold on Miami but if their OL holds up their defense is gonna be real good and I like Cam ward as a QB. |

That was a weird game. They looked so terrible. I was concerned when I saw them doing stupid tik tok dances yesterday.
Seemed like GT was focused and we looked like we enjoyed Dublin's finest nightlife. I'm not saying they will be better because they could just really suck, but they didn't look like they wanted to play football and GT looked like they wanted to murder us. I don't think I've ever watched a game and the only thing that I wasn't disappointed in was the kicker. That's fucking crazy.

Their coach hates the portal and therefore barely participates in it. Rails against NIL. Plus Shane Beamer is pulling kids out of South Carolina that otherwise would have gone to Clemson. Combination of things. There is a ton of talent on the roster and I think they have a decent year, they just can't compete anymore when guys like Smart have it figured it out at just about every level and hes too busy railing against the new norm.
Plus they've missed hard on their last few QB recruits. Klubnik does a lot right but hes never winning a game like this without everything else going right around him.

He also had top of the line coordinators and replaced them with not so top of the line coordinators. I think Dabo thinks he is a better x & Os guy than he is.

Did we not have a thread for the game? Either way, thread to discuss college football, actual stuff, or the game. I'm a CFB enthusiast. I'm so excited for the year. I really feel like Nebraska has a shot to win a good amount of games. I'll be happy with a bowl game cuz we haven't been there in YEARS but I'm feeling pretty good about this year. Most likely is a 7ish win season but wouldn't be shocked if our QB is what most think he is and the OL takes a step that we could really have a breakout year. I've been here before though, so no hype! Get us to 6 and the rest is gravy  Tech has a real chance at 9 wins for the first time since leach. im super pumped. Really want nebraska to beat CU. Matt Rhule is a good coach, im also tired of the qb's mahomes bit, but also respect it a little lol. Still see that Tech doesn't like defense |
