Yes, elite rebounder and shot blocker that was a consistent player throughout his tenure in the NBN, he was a huge part of those teams winning titles

I'm going to say no. While he was a premier rebounder and defender, he couldn't hold on to the ball to save his life, and with all of those rebounds you would think that he could put the ball in the hoop more than a couple of times a game. And one All-Star game does not a Hall of Famer make.
to compare to the real NBA... would you elect Bruce Bowen into the Hall of Fame, as his only real skill was being a shutdown defender? I wouldn't.

Better comparison is Rodman. All those titles, one of, if not the best defensive player in league history, and a great rebounder. Is Rodman not a Hall of Famer?

Rodman is a somewhat fair comparison, although Rodman was a much more gifted rebounder. Also Rodman in his prime was a better scorer. I think a more valid comparison is Ben Wallace.

Rodman at least appeared on the All-Defensive team eight straight years before injuries took their toll. Pollard couldn't manage that. Only five out of nine years. It's just not quite enough I don't think.

Having not been in the league when Pollard was made it tough for me here, but I'm going to go with no. Scott made it to 1 all-star game, career 41% field goal shooter at 6'11" and I'm assuming around the rim at all times and very few shots outside of 5 feet. Yes he won rings and yes his defense was one of the best the league has seen. What happened in 2006/2007? If he was one of the best defenders this league has seen, how'd he go quiet for 2 years if this is the ONLY thing he brings to the team? In his best season, he didn't average 14 rebounds telling me there was another solid big on the team & his career average is only 11 per game. I'm sure there are a good amount of bigs in the NBN right now with numbers like that playing over 30 minutes per game. Scanning through, I saw a quick comment comparing him to Rodman. Rodman was a career 52% field goal shooter (shot 60% one season) and had 6 seasons averaging over 15 rebounds and was only 6'7"!!! I understand this isn't real life ;however, at Scott's size and strength, I believe he could have been much better on the offensive end which in my mind, he would have made him a lock for the HOF. I'm sure this can be said about numerous players, but without those rings, I don't believe he is even talked about for the HOF.

It looks like Pollard is likely to just miss the HOF on his first attempt.

I got to go with yes. I took him with my 2nd pick in the creation draft because I knew what he would bring and that is off the charts defense and rebounding. My teams in the beginning did not score well but do to him being an anchor on defense my team won games. Yes his offensive scoring might not be great but he still helped m offensive as I am sure he gave plenty of second chance opportunities. He has 2 dpoty, all those championships and one all league team and to me those are way more important than an all-star game.

I gotta agree with what Yellowjacket said. He had those 2 quiet years, he didn't have a great career average for rebounds, and his offense wasn't that great.

I have to vote yes for Pollard. Dude just straight up wins, just like Big Dog. One of the most elite level defenders our league had early on and he proved it with defensive accolades and titles. His offense didn't matter, so just like legend Bill Russell for the Celtics dominated with defense and rebounding, this dude deserves a HOF vote.

Pollard would just make the Hall of Fame if I moved the players today, crazy. Still got time to vote, posting last two candidates today and will give another two days ish before starting the next batch and moving these ones over.
Edit: I set it at 70%, so would miss. Whoops. Whood need another 7 yes votes without a no vote to get it. Will end up in the "revote for weaker class"

Pollard has been denied induction to the NBN Hall of Fame this year, will be eligible for future vote at a later time.
