Couple things for this, since its the first time we're doing this...
- You're betting on who you think will win the title. 
- Betting on one team here. 
- Again, you get the odds as they currently are when you place the bet. You can change the bet to a different team, not a different odds. If you change your bet, you get the current odds, not the past ones. You do not get to choose, you default into the odds as they are current posted, but they will change periodically based on trades/injury/performance. 
- If you change your bet to a different team, you may not change back to the original team. This is to avoid changing bets to get better odds as they change. 
- Please post your bet amount, team you are betting to win the title, as well as the odds you are getting. I will also record this information but its good to get it into two places as well as with a time stamp. 
- Payouts happen at the completion of the playoffs, and no cash will be taken until that point. So if you bet 200 on the Kings, and the Kings win the title, $120 will be added to your account. No money will have been taken so your bet+payout will be 320. Just as an example.

God damn treating the Kings like they're the 95-96 Bulls with those odds!!

Also feel if you're gonna have such a big favorite (Kings) the second tier teams should be more than 2-1, example the warriors are 2/1 with the cavs next best at 9/2, followed by 10/1, 20/1

Until proven otherwise to me the Wiggins+Frank duo is the favorite in the league.

And without trying to keep cash balanced in the league is agree with you. But I bunched everyone up the way I did because anything over 5/1 odds breaks the cash in the league by paying out huge amounts. So this is definitely slightly unrealistic I just don't want too much cash going out.

It's in the rules and more in line with my thinking about trying not to break cash in the league, only 1 team can be bet in. New bets void old bet.

We can change that next year but it's in the rules now, but if multiple teams were allowed were gonna pay out too much and inflate the cash flow too much.

The first odds Adjustment has been made due to today's large trades. The book is now higher on the Pistons, pushing confidence in Eastern conference rivals down a little bit as well as pushing the Kings a little down though still the favorite. Also the Spurs have a higher chance as a potential playoff team but still not contenders. Lastly the Hornets drop considerably with more drops most likely.


Remember the rules please in any new bets:

- you are locked into the odds set when you made the bet. These did not change this odds for your bet.
- you may not change your bet to the new odds on the team you already have.
- you can change your bet to a new team with the new odds
- you cannot bet on a team you've already bet on when you change you bet. If you bet on the Cavs, and you change your bet to the Pistons for example you may not bet on the Cavs again this season.

I don't think u should be able to change ur bet and not be charged what u bet.  Any reason for this?
