I thought it would be a good idea to start a Hall of fame thread so that the NBN greats don't get forgotten. We will start after our inaugural year of 2000 and see who has what it takes to get into the NBN HOF. I will look through the players and use my best judgement for who should be nominated. I will then write up a summary with statistics. The following rules will determine who makes it into the NBN HOF:
Must get at least 15 votes. Must get at least 75% voting to make it into the NBN HOF.
If you think someone should be nominated that isn't please let me know and I can review them a second time.
Now lets meet our fist batch of nominees!

Let me know if you have any suggestions. I added in where they went in the creation draft. It should be easier for both stats and commentary as the years go on.
Letter attributes? (These will be skewed at the end of their careers.) Best game during each season? Height/Weight/Age? All-start game stats? Season lines? Team records?

question, if say player zzz does not make the HOF in his first year of voting, does it automatically end his chances, or does he have more chances, or does he have to hit a certain amount of votes or percentage to stay eligible for the next year, will his chances end after x amount of years, or will he stay eligible as long as he continues to get a certain amount of votes or percentage...
maybe i should have said questions, instead of question... facepalm

I think if he gets a certain % then he should be on the ballot again next year.

And if we go this route should there be a number of years then they are cut off like 3,4,5? Or they just continue to be nominated until they are below 50 or above 75?

How much % is needed to get elected?

Hakeem got over 50% but even if I kept nominating him each season I really don't think he would ever get in. Let me know if anyone disagrees.
