Now here is where when we get to meet a real candidate for the NBN Hall Of Fame. Great Numbers - check. Championships - check. Good leader - check. Served our country - check. Let me introduce you to David "The Admiral" Robinson. The dominating Center who led the San Antonio Spurs to back to back Championships. 2000 All star MVP and Defensive POTY. For his career he averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds, and over 3 blocks. His averages for 2000 were some of the best among big men and he dominated in the playoffs beating the Mutumbo/Mourning combo to make it to the Finals. He had 99 double doubles and even a triple double. If would have been a privilege to see him in his prime with how well he performed his last two years. He also had a career high of 10 blocks which shows you that he can take over a game defensively and keep people from trying to get close to the rim. Based on his prior service as an officer in the United States Navy, Robinson earned the nickname "The Admiral". To date, Robinson is the only player from Navy to play in the NBN. While in the service Robinson led Navy, a number seven seed, within a game of the Final Four before falling to Duke in the East Regional Final. Here is how he viewed playing the game of basketball: David Robinson C Creation Draft: Round 2, pick 55 Season Averages Games: 78 MPG: 30.0 PPG: 12.5 RPG: 10.9 APG: 1.2 SPG: 1.0 BPG: 3.0 TOPG: 1.6 FG %: .409 FT %: .701 3P %: .000 Achievements Championships: 2 Player of the Game: 16 Player of the Week: 0 Player of the Month: 0 Double Doubles: 99 Triple Doubles: 1 Career Highs Points: 38 Rebounds: 24 Assists: 6 Steals: 6 Blocks: 10 Season Team Games MPG FG FGA FG % FT FTA FT % 3P 3PA 3P % RPG APG SPG BPG TOPG DQ PPG 2000 Spurs 81 36.2 507 1229 .413 430 610 .705 0 0 .000 14.2 1.5 1.1 3.9 1.8 5 17.8 2001 Spurs 78 30.0 341 834 .409 295 421 .701 0 0 .000 10.9 1.2 1.0 3.0 1.6 9 12.5 Career: --- 159 33.1 848 2063 .411 725 1031 .703 0 0 .000 12.6 1.4 1.1 3.4 1.7 14 15.2 2000 - All-Star Game Participant 2000 - All-Star Game MVP 2000 - Defensive Player of the Year 2000 - All-Defensive Team

No granted I wasnt here but 12 points and 10 rebounds cmon guys That was his second season, his first season he went for 17.5/15 and was DPotY, an All-Star, an All-Star game MVP, and a 2x NBA champion... D-Rob is my first "yes"... His first season was magical, and he was a key part of a dynasty

Yes but this is weird. Guess because we have such a large amount of phase out older veterans I have to look at HOF differently.

i had to vote yes, simply because of 2 years played, 2 championships...even though the spurs had all of those robinson's an such to make them a real good team, i do not think they win back to back without david...

No, very close because of the 2 titles though.

Much like the Mutombo case for me, but the 2 titles tilt the scale to yes for me. I also say that the accolades accumulated over his short NBN career helped to sway me too.

I voted no, can't really judge a career based on just two seasons, even if they were two championship seasons.
