Great scorer but kind of lacked everywhere else for me. Voted no.

So I'm saying no because he lacks awards. He does have a 'ship, but then only has 2 single awards. He also only got 55 player of the game. That is very low and shows that it was mainly other players doing things, more than him. He has had good season, but his averages are very low. I'm not sure that I would have voted yes even if he had a few more single awards.

Diez surely enjoyed playing in Sac Town more than he did in Detroit. I loved having Diez. The trade where I acquired him (essentially KAT + Diez for Wiggins) should go down as one of the notable trades in recent history, if not league history. Wiggins led the Pistons to their title, and having Diez + KAT lead me to another. If KAT didnt fuck me over in FA I honestly believe I would have one more for sure. Diez was real good for me, and echoing what others said, def a late bloomer. Or maybe Vlade just knew how to utilize him best But, I would agree with everyone else. Just not sure that he is HOF worthy. He was always a solid player. But early on (first 7-8 years) he was strictly an offensive player that was a 3-4th option. His best scoring years (PPG) came in 4/5 of his last years. Even APG wise his last years were his best. Like some players we have seen, he did not decline as his years went on, and if anything maybe he left a bit too early. But again he falls short in a few categories. Its a bummer on his end because he played in a time where some real elite SF played in the league. Diez was a great player, but again, just not HOF worthy. No from me.

No - he was good but not great enough for the HOF.

He might've gotten a yes had he not been on such good teams, but he was always 2nd/3rd option for the most part.

Its an emphatic no for me. Only 2 accolades never an all star. Seems like he was a good player but nothing more.

Although his numbers don't differ all that much from Brown's, Diez just doesn't have the awards & resume to get in. He was really only a Top 15ish player for a couple of seasons throughout his career.

buckeyeballa10 claim the extra $25 for best discussion Dani Diez has been denied induction into the NBN Hall of Fame. He is not eligible for a revote.
