The 126th nominee of the NBN Hall of Fame is considered one of the best scorers in league history, landing 5th in all-time points and 6th in 3-pointers. Giannis spent multiple seasons in Vancouver, Indiana, Boston, and Cleveland, with incredible success in all aspects. Giannis is one of the least flawed players in the history of the league, but is that enough to put him into the Hall of Fame? Let's look into it.

Arguments For Induction
- Pure dominance. Giannis is top 5 in scoring all-time, 6th in three pointers made, 4th in rebounds for a non-big, as well as holding the record for free throw percentage in a season (97% with the Pacers in 2024). As someone who joined the league and dealt with Giannis in my division for the entirety of the end of his career, I knew it'd be almost impossible to outplay him. You go into games knowing you're going to take a minus at the 3.
- Giannis was essentially a third big in terms of rebounding. Multiple seasons over 9, including a season with 9.9 RPG with the Grizzlies early on in his career. That in itself is incredible, almost averaging a double double as a small forward.
- Elite scorer who could beat you from anywhere on the court. Even in his retiring year, he had an A+ three point shot. That should show you you just how good of a scorer he was over his entire career.
- Let's not forget, Giannis spent two seasons as a super-sub. If he had played full seasons as a starter for his entire career, we may see his all-time point total/PPG average rise a little bit.
- Seven time All-Leaguer, one of the most dominant players of his time especially at the position he ran at. 2 Championships, 188 player of the games, 2 player of the weeks, 1 player of the month, 434 double doubles, and 6 triple doubles. Electric.
Arguments Against Induction
- Assist:Turnover ratio isn't anything special. 3.7 APG to 2.7 TOPG is pretty eh, nothing to sneeze at.
- Not as many player of the week/player of the month wins as expected for a player this dominant. Pokes a definite hole in his case.
- Surprising lack of team success early in his career. Took until 2032 to finally get his first ring.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
