The 128th nomination to the NBN Hall of Fame is Myles Turner. Turner is a seriously interesting case that's going to provide a good argument likely, for more reasons than one. Will Turner's 6 Championships make up for his lack of numbers? Let's discuss.

Arguments For Induction
- One of the best pure defender/rebounder combo bigs the league has ever seen. Ranks 13th all-time in rebounds and 8th all-time in blocks, even though he spent multiple years on the bench and getting super-sub minutes.
- SIX Championships is really, really, really impressive. Especially considering he did it on multiple teams.
- Proved he could score effectively earlier in his career, putting up 14+ PPG three times in his first four years as a starter. Wasn't utilized as a scoring threat elsewhere, but he was a capable scorer.
- Great with stocks. Averaged at least 4 in the majority of his career, hovered around 5 for a large part of his career as well.
- Rebounding prowess. 14 seasons in a row over 11.9 RPG, including 6 over 12.8. Very, very solid.
- Managed to get 589 double doubles, 14 triple doubles, 94 Player of the Game awards, and even won Player of the Week once.
- FIVE time All-Star, NINE time All-Defensive Team.
Arguments Against Induction
- Inducting Turner may open up some older cases where players didn't put up enough points to be valid options for the HoF.
- Turner's fall off near the end of his career was pretty significant. Struggled to hold himself over 10 PPG over more than the last half decade of his career.
- His MO has become increasingly common over the last few years. Defensive/rebounding bigs are a dime a dozen, and while most aren't as skilled as he was, he's not incredibly far off.
- Spent his career being tossed around with a few long-term stints in between. Landed on six teams, wasn't considered exactly "important" by some GMs.
- Pedestrian scoring percentages. 42/83/34%'s are really nothing to get excited over.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
