2040 Mock Lottery:
1. Wilt Chamberlain, C
Wilt Chamberlain C 7'1'' 260 21 A D C+ B A- A
Wilt Chamberlain
The most complete players we've seen coming out of college, Wilt Chamberlain is destined for the Hall of Fame. At times it appears as if no one is equipped to stop him, and he feeds off of that energy, improving each time he is awarded Player of the Game. Whenever Chamberlain gets Player of the Game honors, he is eligible to gain +1 to inside, rebounding, strength, jumping, or shot blocking. Eligible for his entire career. Chamberlain does not have the cap of 90 on any ratings.

-- Wilt comes into the league looking like an absolute monster and he has a fantastic set of draft notes to back him up. It's unimaginable to me that he could fall past #1. He's an absolute freak at scoring the ball in the paint, he put up numbers like Neon does in the predraft workout except that's without any camping. Neon came into the league and did a lot of good things but was horrible from the line, 36% bad, but this past year he was up to 54%. Wilt already showed he was capable of being above that 55% mark which is really promising. Fix his jumper, work on the handles, maybe blow up the stocks. Absolute stud, HOF pick, he will turn your franchise around. Now it's time to see if Rog tanking was worth it .
2. Oscar Robertson, PG
Oscar Robertson PG 6'5'' 205 20 B B B+ B C+ A
Oscar Robertson
The 1b to Wilt's 1a in this class, Oscar Robertson isn't as dominant of a player coming out of college but may be considered for the #1 overall pick just because of the position he plays. The Big O is a stat stuffer and loves to see his name on the box score with big numbers in the main categories. For each game Oscar Robertson has a triple double, he will get to add +1 to any offensive rating. Eligible each season of his rookie contract, must include a link to the box score. He also does not have the cap of 90 on any ratings.

Shocking to see Oscar go anywhere but #1 ... with Wilt in the class though this happens. Robertson showed a bit of a TO issue but not one that is broken. Plus, you know with the amount of rebounds, steals and blocks you're getting that at least you'll get some of those lost possessions back before he fixes his weakness. Overall, this looks like another can't miss pick and if you just so happen to end up here you should not feel bad that's for sure!
3. Lenny Wilkins, PG
Lenny Wilkens PG 6'1'' 180 20 C B B B+ C- A
Lenny Wilkens
In any other draft, Wilkens would've likely been considered a sure fire top pick, but with how good this draft class is, he's fallen under the radar a bit. As a two-time All-American who came up from nothing, Wilkens has a chip on his shoulder and plans on being a star in this league. Every time a team that Wilkens plays on beats the team of someone drafted above him, he will receive a free +1 able to be used, capped out at +8 per year, eligible for his rookie contract.

4. RJ Hampton
R.J. Hampton PG 6'4'' 180 20 C+ B+ B- B C- A
RJ Hampton
Hampton is going to get overlooked by the bigger guys on the board, but Hampton is a bonafide lottery pick who will bring a lot of excitement to the building. Hampton's all around game and game breaking ability at the point guard spot will mean more butts in the seats and more revenue for the team and more excitement in the locker room. If RJ Hampton gets a player of the game in 25 or more games during his rookie season, the team can claim a free(of limits and price) team improvement camp during the off season following.

6. Bob Boozer, PF
Bob Boozer PF 6'8'' 225 21 B C+ D C+ B A
Bob Boozer
Boozer looks around the league and sees a league more geared towards shooters than brawlers like he is. He wants to work on his three point shot and get it to where it needs to go to help the team. He will receive double three point shot in any camp that has three point shot in it(+2 becomes +4 for just three pointer). In any camp that does not contain three point shot in it, you can add a +1 for $100, up to +5 per season of his rookie contract. Additionally if Boozer ever makes 75 three point shots in a season, he can be converted to a small forward.

Kevin Porter Jr
Extremely athletic wing with some problems off the court, scouts are drooling over Porter's raw skills but some are worried that it will never translate to on-court success. If Porter can prove that he is capable of success vs his peers, he will show GMs around the league what his potential really is. If Porter is able to score 10+ points in the rookie/sophomore game, he will gain +15 potential. This can be claimed twice.

If his team makes the playoffs with him playing 30 or more minutes per game in 72 or more games, his potential will be set to 100, eligible only once.

An incredibly skilled basketball player with an offseason job that also pays incredibly well. Shaffer is a rare type of talent that can go to 3 improvement camps per season on his rookie contract if you make it worth his while. The 3rd improvement camp each year costs $1000. He is also eligible for a 2nd supercamp at any time in his career for a cost of $4000.

Roberts is a versatile and hard nosed player who can effectively backup either forward position, Roberts believes he deserves a chance to start though. If Roberts is a starter for 20+ DCs at any point in his rookie contract, then he will gain +10 potential. You can claim this once. If he is Player of the Game in any game he starts on his rookie contract, he will also gain +1 potential.

Satch Sanders SF 6'6'' 210 20 C+ C+ C- A B- B
Satch Sanders
An elite defensive forward, Satch Sanders was a capable offensive player in college, but has decided to focus more on defense for his NBN career because he believes defense wins championships, and Satch is a winner. Each time Satch is camped, he will be able to change one offensive bonus into a double bonus in any defensive category (+2 inside could become +4 shot blocking, etc). Also Satch can at any time in his career remove 1 point on any offensive rating and add 2 to any defensive rating. He does not have the cap of 90 for defensive ratings.
