Francisco Mattei is one of the unsung studs of his era, grinding for over a decade and always putting up solid numbers en route to being one of the more underrated players of the last few years in the NB. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- One of the league's most versatile bigs in a long time. Rebounded at an elite level, insanely talented defender, and could score at a high rate too.
- Frankly, I think he was one of the league's best bigs for the majority of his career. He spent a lot of time held by the Knicks and Kings, but I feel like his career trended up for the entirety of his 1,147 games, until the last season.
- He could take over a game. While his scoring wasn't always 20 points per night, he was pretty effective and could put up big numbers whether scoring, rebounding, or defending.
Arguments Against Induction
- I'm fairly shocked at how few awards he had. Going in, seeing the HoF stats, I would've almost 100% voted him in remembering how good his prime was.
- His overall statistics have been brought down by sitting bench his first and last two seasons. If he had continued on his normal pace, he'd likely have averaged 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 3+ blocks per game.
- No Championship will hurt a lot too. The achievements are very light.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
