Arguments For Induction
- What a career. Two-time MVP, five time All-Leaguer, nine time All-Star, seven time All-Defensive team. Absolutely incredible.
- EIGHTY FIVE TRIPLE DOUBLES. Guy was a machine. One of the best scoring, passing, and rebounding point guards we've seen.
- 24/10/2.6 stocks per game over his career. Absolute insanity. Again, it's a shame the Jazz held onto him so long or chances are, he could've lead a team to the promised land.
Arguments Against Induction
- No Championship. Not really his fault, but he never won a ring.
- He had a very good career, but his lows didn't help. A few seasons under 20 PPG where he wasn't exactly considered "relevant" may hurt his cause.
- Not much else to argue against his induction. He was never a "fantastic" three point shooter, but he wasn't bad. Bout it.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
