Buddy Jeannette was one of the league's most underrated players as a point guard in a point guard heavy league. His ability to defend, pass without turning the ball over, and take over games offensively is one of the better we've seen in recent years of the NBN. Does this make him an NBN Hall of Famer?

Arguments For Induction
- So, I'm biased as hell here, but my take on this is how important Buddy was for the teams he was on in terms of their contending ability. Buddy kept up with the likes of prime Bob Davies, John Roosma, Trae Young, and Bob Cousy in 2033 in the playoffs en route to being a main piece on the Pacers 2033 Championship team.
- As a starter for about a decade, Buddy averaged 18/9/5/2.5 stocks with only about 2 turnovers per game. He put himself on the career leaderboard for assists and steals in just eleven seasons of starting. While his career role went from "mid-level starter" to "high-level backup", that shouldn't be discredited in Buddy's career.
- Buddy is one of the most underrated defenders in the NBN's history, in my opinion. When I traded for him, he had 100 perimeter defense and 97 stealing. Pretty incredible there and not to be discredited in his Hall of Fame case.
Arguments Against Induction
- Buddy's career statistics took a major dip after he declined slightly. The longevity will end up working against him here as he didn't retire until very late after his prime.
- Awards are light. On top of one championship, a few All-Star rookie appearances and a Rookie Game MVP, as well as an All-Star appearance (although it was with guys like Davies, McAdoo, Lumpp, etc always in the East).
- Essentially, this will come down to what people like. If you like a point guard who was tremendous at setting up his teammates, a great defender, and an above-average scorer, he's probably a yes vote for you. If his 18/9/2.5 starter statistics aren't enough for you, then it's probably a no go.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $25 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $25***
