General DC rules:
* Bold any depth chart changes.
* You should submit a new depth chart after making a trade, no matter how minor the trade is.
* Each position requires 3 unique names, no player can be listed twice at a position.
* Starters can only start and be listed only that one time (they can not be backups).
* Players that are injured for 20+ days should be moved out of the DC. The commish reserves the right to make this change for players left active with substantial injuries.
* If your starter is injured for an entire sim+ and your backup is an adapted player, you must make a change to have a legal non-injured starter.
* Players not available because they are overseas (i.e. they have a * after their name) must be on the IR.
* The commish will set any illegal DC (or failing to update a DC after a trade) to Auto, or make small tweaks to make the DC legal
* Any autoed DC that is illegal can be adjusted by the commish to keep them inside the rules.
* If you are caught with a tanking DC you will be auto'd for the rest of the season. A tanking DC is defined as having your best players on the IR or blatantly getting fewer minutes than they deserve.
* $10 will be awarded for each FULL DC that is posted (you cannot just post 'same' or post a few changes. A full, legal DC is required for the $10)
* $100 will be awarded for each full DC that is posted in the playoffs
* You must carry at least two players eligible to start at PG on your playoff roster. If you do not and you are forced to play someone out of position in the playoffs for an entire sim (applies to PG, SG, or SF), then that player will have a severe penalty (-50) to handling and passing.
Position Eligibility Rules:
* 1st string: Players may play UP a position but not DOWN (e.g. a SG cannot play at PG, a SF cannot play at SG, but a PG can play SG/SF, or a SF can play PF/C, etc.) The only exception to this rule is that PF/C is interchangeable.
* 2nd string: Same rules as 1st string. Players who are starting cannot be listed as a backup anywhere on the depth chart
* 3rd string: Players may play down 1 position if they are 3rd string (e.g. a SG can be 3rd string PG)
* The position the player is created at is the smallest position that players can start at for his career. There are spending mechanisms to change positions under certain circumstances.
* Players who were eligible at a position but moved to another position by the GM will be eligible to backup their original position, but can no longer start there.
* Players with a period at the end of their name indicates they are able to backup one position down. (A SG with a period (Victor Oladipo.) after their name is eligible to backup PG). Multiple periods denotes multiple positions down they can backup (An SF with two periods is eligible to backup SG and PG.)
Please post your depth chart in the following format:
C- 1st string / 2nd string / 3rd string
PF-1st string / 2nd string / 3rd string
SF-1st string / 2nd string / 3rd string
SG-1st string / 2nd string / 3rd string
