That trade for Cade still holds more value. No 1st goes for 2000k unless its a top of the line pick which we know this won't be. Now if he hits in FA all good but if he doesn't this trade will be god awful. 2,000 cash is 2 articles worth which is legitimately nothing. I paid 2K cash for the 12th pick, which is not top of the line. Getting the first + other players > cash 1111100000% 8.5.5

So what you are saying more or less is the new gm is NOT supposed to trade. do whatever you'd like but trading the "4th best PG in the league" according to the commish's article for a non-premium pick and two non-premium prospects probably isn't a good plan. It's not the worst deal you could've made but if you strike out on max offers to guys like Murray, it'll be bad 8.5.5

I think we all want to make sure that you know what you are getting. You are trading a potential All star PG for a mid to most likey very late 1st and a couple of prospects that have not worked out and the reasoning is to hope that you get someone in FA.
The person that you are making the trade with is forgoing all of that cap space for the large contract because he knows how much of a difference maker Pritchard is and doesnt want to play the lottery in Free Agency

You just been throwing cash around lol. Also Cade didn't even make the best pg list so based on positiong that 2k makes way more sense.

You just mad of who it went to. Wonder if Cade went to van for 2500 if you would of flipped. But because it was Slough and his "friend" you can't let it go. I would much rather the 2500 over this package. I know I could do more with that then a Mediocre pick. Especially when its only a handful of us who actually write articles. So not so easy to make 2k unless you actually put in the effort.

Wouldn’t have cared if he traded him elsewhere, but he willingly accepted a mediocre offer instead of attempting to make a move to get more assets to help out a friend.

So what you are saying more or less is the new gm is NOT supposed to trade. That's not at all what is being said. What we are saying is that deals where new GMs trade away franchise players for what is perceived to be minimal value is going to be voted on by the trade committee for the long term health of the league.

Or he is just someone who has showed little interest in the past few seasons. N you saying you wouldn't have cared if he went elsewhere is the problem. Its not even bout the trade its just bout who it went to. N def my last piece on this. No need for any more energy on it.

Yeah because certain people complain about friend trades and then abuse them themselves. And if he’s showed little interest, fire him so shit like this doesn’t happen. How’s that sound?

I for one am sick of friend trades, I've given Rog and Melo how many star players? They never give me anything back. Totally one sided smh

Bigthunder might not have shown any interest in the past two or three or five or six seasons, but he's still meeting basic activity requirements and has been here for six years. The waiting list is a few people who haven't signed on in months, do you have a friend who wants in the league that can take over and will be more active for multiple years? Or do you just want to complain about something that I'm doing wrong?
